inkytoes:  I completely agree!  I understand that people have things come up but at the very least responding to the email letting me know.  I had a vendor that I was really interested in working with, she came highly recommended by the photographer.  We were emailing back and forth, there was a point I asked for her pricing and she was outside of my range and asked for a additional reference.  I did contact the reference in addition to still emailing through with this vendor.  We got to talk a few weeks (after finding a package I could work with).  I requested the proposal and hadn’t heard back and had sent two follow-up emails.  I did find out that reference thanked this vendor so I don’t know what to think at this point.  Unfortuately, its aggravating when this event already add so much stress these types of things dont help.  One thing I have thought is to provide a review so other brides can be aware of these types of things.

I am having the same issue and completely baffled by this!!!…I feel like I am constantly keeping on top of everything and hunting down every single one of my vendors!!  We are three weeks away from our wedding and meeting with the DJ for the 1st time in person this upcoming Tuesday!!!  Everyone seems to be way more laid back about timelines etc. than me!!!

I got the run around… for any vendor but HMUA I just moved on if they gave me the run around.  At least 5 officiants lost my business this way, 2 florists, and 1 venue.

The only reason HMUA could get away with it is because they ALL were like that, or too expensive for me.  When there’s no good alternative, you have to put up with the crap.
