Our wedding was AMAZING!!!!!!!! Amazing and beyond! I married the greatest man on the planet! The venue was to die for! We had fields of green grass and yellow wildflowers. The geese flew into the pond, puffy clouds rolled in at just the right time and and created the most amazing soft sunset light, our photographers were going nuts! The temperature was a lovely 72 degrees with a gentle breeze.
My hair/makeup experience was out of this world. My bridesmaids and I lounged around in beautiful Sedona, AZ as they served us mimosas and transformed me into someone I didn’t even recognize in the mirrior. Wow! We looked good, (I normally don’t really think I’m pretty).
My ladies looked like goddesses walking down the aisle on the covered bridge. Literally the entire guest list was crying after our vows. People kept talking about the vows all night.
My honey worked his rear off decorating the venue the day of. He arranged our DIY flowers perfectly. OOOHHHHHH the flowers!!!!!!!!! Half from Sam’s, half FIfty Flowers. They came right on schedule and were GLORIOUS!!!!!! Shades of pale pink and cream, huge garden roses, roses, lisianthus, and white hydrangeas and pink stock. Not a bad stem in hundreds of flowers. The stock was like pink clouds and the scent was overwhelming. The rental car used to transport them smelled heavenly for three days afterwards!
The dress fit perfectly, the bustle stayed tied. The shoes were perfect for dancing. OOOOOHHH my GOD…. the first dance! A surprise to all the guests, we worked with an instructor to create a super elegant ballroom dance to Michelle Featherstone’s painfully romantic “Man and Wife”. My mother said tears were pouring down her face the whole time and his mom couldn’t even breath. It turned out so perfect!!!!
The food and catering service was beyond, just beyond delicous and wonderful. Our bestman home brewed two beers from scratch and they were epic! The cake was homemade by my Mother-In-Law and was delicous. Lemon w/ raspberry on the top layer, red velvet w/ cream cheese frosting and white cake with apricot filling from my sisters orchards on the bottom.
Homemade honey favors from my fiances own beehives, a slideshow with about 40 photos of myself and husband at the same ages side by side from birth till present. About 98% of our guests were on the dance floor and we rocked it all night! It goes on and on….to much goodness to mention. Friends and family were so sweet and helpful. Pro teaser pics to come soon!
Thank you Bees! I knew nothing about weddings and used these boards extensively to help create the most amazing wedding EVER!!!!!!!
