@JoJoDahling:  I’m going through this right now too – trying to compile a list that everyone will like and dance to. Harder than it sounds!

I had a Sunday morning brunch, so I had a pianist for the wedding and reception.  I LOOOOOOVED it.  It was better than I ever could have imagined.

We’re doing an ipod wedding– mostly because we’re not expecting a whole lot of dancers.  Our families are all the types of people that would rather be chatting the whole reception. Same with most of the friends we’re inviting.

On our RSVP card, we’re putting a space so that people can request particular songs, and we’re going to try our hardest to accomodate.

@JoJoDahling:  Our pianist actually used a keyboard, because we were outside at the beach.  (I looked into having a baby grand delivered and set up, but the pianist was very adament that the sound would be better from his [good] keyboard than an actual piano in the venue.)  I was skeptical, but SO impressed with the sound quality.  (It helps that we had a really talented pianist with good equipment)
