Just when I thought we found a place that was up front about all of the costs involved in catering through them…
They want $240 for disposable chaffing dishes and $430 for utensils/dishes/napkins for 175 people (realistically we won’t have more than 150). For BBQ.
Why not just make your entree prices higher and include these things? So annoying, especially since we had a tasting and the chaffing dish thing was not mentioned at all, and the guy we’re working with told us we could rent dishes, but they also could provide disposables at no extra charge and I told him we were more interested in the latter. Now he’s quoting me real dishes and telling me it wouldn’t work well to use their standard disposables.
