Well, we’re LDR so we don’t normally spend the holidays together (Thanksgiving/Christmas) since ticket prices are super expensive. I have flown out the day after Christmas and we were together for one Fourth of July and Labor Day but other than that, we’ve been doing our own thing. So I’m really looking forward to when we’re together-together and we’re finally celebrating a holiday together!

Boyfriend or Best Friend & I are long distance, but we try to always spend holidays together.  This is our 4th Christmas since we started dating and will be our 3rd together.  The first year we were with our own families but we were also very young at the time, only 17 & 18.

We’re in Canada, so we already had our Thanksgiving in October.  I had a 5 day weekend from the way my school schedule fell with the day off, so I went to see him.

At Christmas, he’s going to be here until Christmas afternoon, when he has to go back home.  He has a 6am-6pm shift on Boxing Day (he’s a couple months away from graduating as a paramedic), so he’ll be missing the big celebration my family has.

We will be spending Thanksgiving at my sisters house and his parents are going there as well for the first time.  I am so happy things are working out so easily this year!

We’re having Thanksgiving at noon with my family then again at about 2-3ish with his family. He has work at 5pm though.

I don’t know about Christmas eve yet…. maybe we’ll do kind of the same thing if he has it off. Sadly I have work on Christmas.

We usually try to visit with one side’s family earlier in the day and with the other family in the evening. This year for Thanksgiving we’ll be spending it with just my family. My mom is in town for the first time in two years and my grandma is having dinner at the same time as my FI’s mom. My FI’s mom understands since I really want to see my mom for the three days she’ll be in the state. I’m expecting a backlash from his siblings though. : (

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in NZ but for Christmas, the SO and I will spend Christmas Eve with my mother and her boyfriend, Christmas Day with my father and brother and Boxing Day with his father, his girlfiend and the rest of his family. Having divorced/separated parents can be a real pain but at least we have a system down now so no one feels left out/doesn’t get visited.

We always spend the holidays together. We always have, even two months after we started dating. We would just split the day between families. But since my mom is working, we are having Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.

We’re still figuring out Christmas, complicated b/c his parents are in a different direction from mine (both are about 45 minutes from us). And he probably has to work. And Christmas is my birthday. I think we’re going to my mom and step dad’s on Christmas Eve, and then we’ll do a day or part of a day with his family.

We’re doing both. SO and I are spending Christmas Eve with my family then driving to his family after breakfast on Christmas day.  But we’re lucky that my parents and his brother are only 40 minutes apart.  His mum is 4-5 hours from my parents so we are picking her up before going down to my parents.

Yes, for Thanksgiving we are just going over to his family’s house for dinner and we will be having dinner with my family first and then with his family on Christmas day. We are really looking forward to it cuz this is our first married Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Yes, my SO and I spend ALL holidays with both families. For example Christmas Eve with his parents and Christmas Day with my parents.  It’s exhausting organizing it all, but we are both close with each others families.
