Yup. I hope he starts talking and loved ones of the victims (and everyone who was injured and terrorized) can find answers.

Everyone did an exceptional job. Im so happy the man who founded Suspect 2, and inmidiately called authorities, is safe aswell.

It’s deffinately a relief he was found. Hopefully he speaks and cooperates  by giving us Something…some reasoning as to why him and his brother committed such hideous attack.

Dramatic phrasing in the thread title! Sounds like what I’d expect from a news agency (with suitable music, natch), didn’t know people really talk/think that way.

@joya_aspera:  …and? Why do you have an issue with every thread on this topic?

@joya_aspera:  The title of this thread is a quote from the Boston Police Departments twitter

I’m just afraid of the complacency now,  do people really think a 26 year old and 19 year old are the evil mastermind behind this? Now I am not saying they couldn’t be but I am willing to bet there is more to this than two young men.

@chasesgirl:  the unfortunate thing is that the American public is demanding answers now, but will lose interest/be distracted by something else in no time.

@VeggieBee:  Yep! Sometimes people jump all over threads before doing some research. Shouldn’t we all just be happy and relieved that the suspect has been taken down and the people of Boston can breathe a little easier?

@chasesgirl:  There were reports earlier today that they have an accomplice. Also, 3 people have been arrested in connection with the incident, but reports haven’t said in what capacity they may be involved or if they’ve just been taken in for questioning. I think there is a lot left to come out about this story.

With literally all my family in the greater Boston area, I felt a huge sigh of relief when suspect #2 was caught. I hope that he says that he wasn’t part of a terrorist cell, but only time will tell.

@joya_aspera:  This is the second time I’ve seen you try to minimize people’s feelings on the Boston marathon bombings issue. (On another thread you said boston PD over reacted by asking people to stay in their homes today.) Is there some reason why you’re bringing everyone else down on this issue? A lot of us know many people personally affected by this (I myself know the 29 yo that was killed from Medford and the 26 yo MIT cop killed, plus my uncle and 2 cousins are Cambridge, MA police officers) and are eternally grateful for the reaction, even if it proves to be more than what was necessary (although I think it was more than appropriate in the moment). I just don’t understand how someone could think everything that has happened since Monday hasn’t been the appropriate reaction. Please feel free to inform me.

@BabyCarat:  I hadn’t heard that,  I’ve been at work or asleep for the last few days catching snippets as I walk in patient room with the news on!  I did see the stuff about one victim who happened to be Saudi and got his house searched… welcome to the land of the free?

@Boston Bee:  Sorry to hear about your losses!  I can’t even imagine.  I too read something that a certain previous poster had written along the lines of “I can’t believe they shut the entire city down over 3 murders.” We’ll not to minimize three murders which are awful enough on their own but this was a heck of a lot more serious than that! Some people….

@VeggieBee:  Thank you.

It’s not even about “just being 3 murders.” They intended to murder many more. Who knows how many IEDs are still out there that police haven’t found. I just don’t understand how people can think law enforcement is being TOO cautious. Isn’t that a good thing?
