Oh what a surprise… more people behaving badly.

I know that most people will say that your Fiance should show them the error of their ways but if you’ve already tried that with no success, either say something directly to them or just ignore them.  If you take away the power that you are letting them hurt you with, they’ll stop.  It may not be now, or even soon, but eventually they’ll realize that they can’t get a reaction to them and stop behaving like the twits they seem to be.

@anothersmith – This.

Your Fiance can say something to them and ask them to be respectful, but he cannot control their response. It is not his, or your, fault if they insist on being ridiculous. Focus on the love you share with your intended and only spend the time with them that is absolutely necessary. There is nothing wrong with standing up for yourself, but don’t lose your cool.

@anothersmith:  Agreed

@MlleDarcy:  and agreed.

Neither you or your Fiance can control them.  The only thing you have control over is how you choose to respond.  Chances are that eventually your Fiance will have to make a choice between them and you.  And it sounds like he will choose you.  Then they will see the error of their ways.
