I have spent the last hour attempting to find out some information online and not being able to find what I’m looking for is ticking me off! Like, I have a college degree, I should be able to find ANYTHING online.
I am trying to find information on a courthouse ceremony in the Allegheny County court house in Pittsburgh. I need to know days of operation, times of operation, and how to obtain a permit for photography inside the courthouse. Can anybody please help me!!

Well, I found this, but you probably already did, too.
I’d say just call the office and ask them directly. They’ll be able to give you the best answers.

@HeyKaraoke: I think I’m just going to have to call them…ugh…talking to real people….LAME. THanks for your search though 🙂

Just wanna say it’s not that you’re dumb. Allegheny County’s websites are abysmal. By the way, I called the register of wills for info about marriage licenses and the woman I spoke to was nice and helpful. Good luck.

No, you are not dumb. Allegheny County’s websites are horrible. I had the same problem a few weeks ago when I was looking for marriage license/officiant information.
Here’s the link for the Register of Wills, which apparently also takes care of marriage licenses. There’s a number at the bottom for questions about marriages so if you call them, they should be able to help you or transfer you to someone who can.
I’ve found that in this city, sometimes it’s easier to call a random number, tell them what you need, and they will transfer you or give you the right number.
