@Mrs. Jaguar  Hopefully they can figure out which drug will help growth since they aren’t maturing.  Hang in there.

@ChuckNorris  Oh, sweetie, I am so sorry you’re having such a rough time with this.  I always get discouraged when my follies are responding how I want them to, so I totally get how you’re feeling.  And, being all hopped up on fake hormones doesn’t help the situation at all.  Hang in there.  I promise it’ll get better.  And, at least you have a vacation to look forward to, so you can relax and regroup while there.  Sending you big hugs.

@ChuckNorris  Well, that just sucks.  I hate that you’re having to go through this.  Give yourself time to be pissed and sad and cry.  I’m sending you big hugs.  Although, I have to agree with

@Mrs. Jaguar  I’m sorry you have less eggs this time, but I’m going to tell you what I told somebody else a few months back. My co-worker has had 2 out of 3 successful IVF rounds (2nd one she did get pregnant, but miscarried) and she had 5 or less eggs removed from ALL THREE cycles. So it truly is quality over quantity!! In fact, her first cycle she only had 3 removed and still conceived and has a 3 yr old son. This latest cycle she had 5 removed and is pregnant now with another boy. So please, please don’t let the amount discourage you. It really only takes ONE! I’m thinking of you and have everything crossed and hoping this is it for you!!!!!!!!! I’m so glad your doc called and said the lining is good (VERY important!) and everything else looks great. It’s going to be great. 3 more days! I’m thinking of you!! 🙂

@Mrs. Jaguar  Oh, no…reading your post made me so very sad.  What the hell, ovaries?!?!  But DO NOT give up hope, Jag, quality over quantity…those 4 eggs may be super duper eggs and give you a better chance of getting knocked up then a boatload of average ones!  Sounds like you doctor is awesome, to call you personally is great and I hope she was able to calm you down a bit.  I know you are super disappointed, but your numbers are good and like I keep saying to myself, you only need one!  I have everything imaginable crossed for you, my friend!  You can do this, you will do this…XOXOX

Sooooo, I am TRIGGERING tonight!  Apparently, my follicle and I have a lot in common and are stubborn and do things at our own pace.  That darn follie jumped in size overnight…I went in this morning, but wasn’t about to believe it until my nurse called.  I had all these scenarios going where the doctor the did the u/s made a mistake, yada, yada, yada.  Anyway, we do two back to back IUI’s, tomorrow and Sunday!  We will leave for vacation right after the IUI on Sunday.

I just want to say that looking back on my posts it really does seem that I was most upset about my vacation, yeah it potentially did suck, but it really wasn’t about that at all.  And I don’t want any of you to think that I am not thankful for at least that one follie, because I am so thankful.  Unbelievably so…  I think I sounded like a brat more worried about her vacation than what it was I was trying to accomplish…becoming a mom.  Being older with limited time and eggs, this is our big shot so to speak.  If this fails, I am not sure where we will go from there so there was/is a lot of pressure and our road has been quite bumpy.  I assure you that I have never lost  sight completely of the end result, I am blessed that I am given this chance at a shot, I don’t take it for granted at all.  As always, thank you all for your support and kind words…and I will ALWAYS be rooting for each and every one of you!

@gingersnap25  Girlie, I never thought you weren’t Thankful.  FRUSTRATED AS HELL cause your follie was just taking her sweet old time.  IF always seem to throw out our best made plans into a tailspin.  My mother always try to tell me its a lesson in patience but I’ve never had an ounce of that in my body.LOL  You don’t have to feel bad about your feelings @ that moment.  You were frustrated, stressed, concerned, worried, etc but we know that it was just the situation.

Believe me, when I had to pick up my meds the first time, they pharmacy wasn’t open.  And then when the employees waltzed in 10min late, I was ready to fill my own prescription.  Hey, after traffic, B/W and U/S, I just wanted to get home.  Who really cares about the movie you saw last night.  This sista has drugs to take.LOL  Now I remember to bring a book.:)

@Mrs. Jaguar  I was thinking about you today. I’m so sorry you got disappointing news. 🙁 And, whoever this scientist lady is, someone needs to have a talk with her about what NOT to say to patients. That is just ridiculous. I’m glad your update was better though and I’ll be thinking good thoughts for everything to go as perfect as can be in the next few days.

@Mrs. Jaguar  Not once did you sound bad or anything of the sort.  This is the place we all come to bitch and vent and cry about how unfair this whole mess is.  That’s what we’re all here for!  Hope the IUIs went well and ENJOY YOUR VACATION!!!

@Mrs. Jaguar  So glad to read your update about your hubby’s second sample!!  I bet that was such a relief!!  3 eggs isn’t bad.  Sure, you’d have had hoped for more, but like everyone is saying – quality over quantity.  All it takes is one.  Im sending you and your eggs lots of love and good thoughts!!!
