@Mrs. Jaguar:  Yeah for approval.  So you will be testing in August then?

@Jenn23:  I test 7/3.  I really scared to test.  I will most likely buy a HPT the night before so I don’t test early.

@silver1:  Injectibles aren’t bad.  I gave myself the daily shots while DH had to give me the trigger.  Everything was in my belly which made it easier.

@bunny:  Yeah!!!!!  Everything is crossed.  Hoping you get your BFP this cycle.

Well, Ladies I just had my implantation AP appt and I felt cramping.  I take my herbs throughout the week and then go in next week.  I love my AP but I really hate having to go in before work.  I’m not a morning person.

I’m also taking the lovely progesterone pills.  Got up this morning w/ DH to help control the leakage.  Wow, this is really going to make sexy time real sexy.LOL

@Mrs. Jaguar:  thanks for starting this up again!! Doesn’t our last cycle feel like it was sooo long ago?

Here’s me in a nutshell:

high fsh, DH volume issues ( I still don’t really understand his stuff) RE felt that with our combination, IVF would be our best bet. We’ve been TTC since June 2011

IVF 1-April 11 eggs retrieved, only 2 decent embryos on day 3. Transfered both. much to our surprise got pregnant. Beta numbers doubled nicely for a week, then began bleeding and beta dropped. “chemical pregnancy”

IVF 2-June/July “patch antagonist” will begin climera patch and ganorelix at end of June (10 days after LH surge) the new protocol is supposed to lower my FSH in order to prep me for stimming.

I am happy to get this show on the road. I feel like I have been in a holding pattern for quite some time. If anyone is new to IVF, I’m happy to answer any questions.

@squeak35:  Cramping is a good sign! Hope that is what is was! Yep, the progesterone side effects are absolutely lovely. I didn’t take the pills, but had to do the injections, then suppositories for a few months and the leakage was horrendous. Hang in there!

@bradybride:  Good luck with your next cycle!! I used Ganerelix, instead of Lupron on my 2nd (successful) cycle. It worked great for me! Hope this is it for you. ๐Ÿ™‚

@Jenn23:  I’m hoping so as well but I’m trying to not symptom spot.:)  My body must love the pills cause I’m not getting much leakage.  However, my boobs soo Hurt.  Usually I would only get this tenderness @ night.

I’m just now getting to read all your sweet comments and it means so much to me to have all this support. <3

I was in the home stretch, about leave work for the IUI when I got a call from my husband. He was pulling into the parking garage at our doctor’s office … half an hour early! I had given him the wrong time to deliver his sample! I promptly had a panic attack, but everything turned out OK. The doctor was able to fit us in a half hour early, and my boss was kind enough to give me the extra time off work.

Just to make this clear, we did the IUI with the sucky ob/gyn — the same one who screwed up the timing on my IUIs for the last 4 months so badly that we never actually had an IUI. This was a natural cycle for us. Apparently my body REALLY doesn’t like femara, because this is the second month that I’ve Oed naturally directly after an anovulatory femara cycle. So I surged Wednesday/Thursday. On Thursday I called his office to ask about supplementing with progesterone during my LP and that’s when they asked if we wanted to do an IUI Friday.

Everything went just fine with the actual procedure, though I was annoyed that he didn’t scan my ovaries/uterus first to make sure everything was looking how it was supposed to. He said Mr. Bunny’s swimmers looked good, though.

Just as a precaution (I guess in case my surge wasn’t strong enough or something?) he had the nurse give me a trigger shot after the IUI. I’m not sure I understand the point of this, but I’m kind of grateful because that means I won’t be able to symptom spot or POAS early.

I feel fine, but wiped out and I’m assuming that’s from the HCG in the trigger. Also I’m spotting a little bit, but from what I’ve read online, that’s fairly normal since the catheter can irritate your cervix.

Oh, and I’m supposed to start the Crinone suppositories in a couple days after I get my temp jump. Therefore — NO SEX FOR 2 WEEKS. Mr. Bunny is hating the doctor for dropping that little bomb right before hustling out the door.

That’s the long version. Sorry I’m rambling. I’m blaming it on the fake pregnancy hormones that are now coursing through my body.

@bunny:  The trigger shot does make you tired.  Praying that this will be the last time you see that OBGYN and you get your BFP this cycle.  The suppositories are quite lovely.  Make sure to get pantyliners.  My nurse suggested for morning application to wake an hour or so earlier in the morning, this will help w/ absorption. It really has helped but there’s still leakage.(TMI)

Nothing going on over here.  Just relaxing and eating and trying not to obsess about every twinge and cramp.  Thanks to the extra progesterone I’m feeling my crampings and twinges have intestified and my breast are tender all day now.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

@bunny:  So glad the timing worked out FX!!! I too have wondered about u/s my ignorant guess is maybe the lube could interfere with spermies in case you BD after? IDK. At my doc they do u/s a day or 2 before IUI.  I don’t have experience with crinonine but that must have been shock springing it like that on your DH. Sorry you are stuck with that Obgyn. Is going to a different doctor an option at all or is it an insurance/location issue? Interesting I have had HCG trigger twice before and I didn’t feel wiped out guess my body reacts differently.

My cycle is going according to plan so far AF showed up on time I have u/s scheduled for Sat and then (hopefully) IUI on sunday. So happy the timing is looking great DH can relax on Sun and not stress out about work. Now if only I could plan the pregnancy too..

@squeak35:  That is good to know it doesn’t hurt. I am a big wuss though when it comes to needles and will probably have my DH do it.  Glad to hear you are taking it easy during tww and not stress out over symptoms FX its all good things happening. I am bored (and relaxed) now I am hoping I can be same when I get to tww.
