How exciting! I have a halo, and prefer my low setting because I tend to be clumsy Smile Here are some I found online that I like

I love the three stone look with smaller stones on the ends and a halo on the center stone only…love love love!!! I also love the metal shank 🙂

I have a halo and as you said, I prefer a low-set center stone in the halo. One, I prefer the look, second, it makes the stone much more secure as it is protected.

As for the basket situation…I can show you mine but it’s probably not what you want. I wanted a closed basket with a V-shape opening. I wanted a contour band and not a band that would sit flush against it. So it’s a filigree basket, which I find romantic 🙂 I really wanted a shak that rised up to meet the top of the basket, with an opening through it. I would change nothing about the basket!! It’s also convenient for cleaning with a toothbrush 😉

Best of luck with your custom ring! I am just finishing the process of making my custom wedding band.

@MrsB161718:  you ask your jeweler to order the casting and come up with the price.  The three stone ring is technically for pear shapes but i’m not sure the measurements, so it may work for your rounds.  typically jewelers pay by the gram for the ring and can charge you for mellie and labor.  ask your jeweler if they have or can open an account with the casting house…instead of custom making you will both be making a big difference in the cost of your new ring.  they happen to be one of my favorite places to find rings i can’t afford from designers…so i keep an eye open for their updated stock.
