This is a vent and a continuation/update of another thread that I posted a few weeks before my wedding. If you need to catch up here’s the previous convo
Now here’s my vent: My intuition was correct. My rings are way too big for my hand. They fly off of my fingers if I brush myself off, comb my hair, etc. I am so mad at the jeweler. I knew something didn’t sound right about him making my rings bigger. The e-ring doesn’t even snap into my enhancer anymore. Now I will have to be without my precious-es AGAIN to fix his mistake that I voiced concerns (to him) about in the first place!!

Wow, that is really frustrating. I certainly hope you don’t have to pay to have them resized!

@MissHelen: Yes, I am very frustrated. I don’t have to pay they are on the insurance plan. I just don’t like not having them AGAIN..when it could have been prevented.
I just want to warn everyone to stick with your intuitions. If it doesn’t feel right get to where you feel comfortable with your decision (ask questions, get a second opinion, etc). Yes, they do this everyday, but it’s your property and you are the one that’s emotioally connected to it. They are just doing a job and not as tied to it as you are, so they can be insensitive, sometimes, to these kinds of things. I asked questions, but he kept making it seem like he kew what he was talking about. I left the shop still not so sure that they shoul dbe resized and here I am today with way too big rings!
