Kabatchy2be:  Same here! Thanks friend 🙂 hopefully we can come up with a plan today. Hoping your ovaries cooperate and retrieval goes as planned!! I haven’t even started monitoring and I already know I’m going to hate it lol

The chat with my RE went well I suppose! He said everything looks normal (though he doesn’t have my genetics results yet), so we are considered “unexplained RPL”. He said the chances of my next pregnancy being successful are around 80% for my age, so that’s good news.. if I could just get pregnant! He said that since it’s only been (ugh) 7/8 cycles since my last pregnancy, he isn’t going to treat us as though we are infertile, which essentially means no IUI unless we still aren’t pregnant by the end of summer. He gave us our options of (1) keep trying on our own and see what happens; (2) use stims to aid in egg maturity and development + TI; or (3) go straight to IVF with PGD testing.

DH and I agreed on option 2 IF we don’t fall pregnant this cycle or next. Next cycle we will be out of town so I wouldn’t be able to go in for monitoring. So that’s where we are! I’m glad you kinda sorta have a plan, but hate that we’re still in “just wait and see”… but I guess that’s true for any part of this process!

HaaaveYouMetTed:  I know it sucks to not have to wait and see. I am the same way, where I would almost rather have a problem to fix! It’s good that there is nothing major wrong! Did you like the doctor? Will your insurance cover IVF if you ever have to get to that step? I would choose #2 if I were you too!

futuremrssquiggs:  I really do like the doctor! I’m thankful I’ve spent the last year familiarizing myself with all the lingo and such because he speaks really scientifically haha I can’t imagine going in without any previous knowledge or familiarity. My insurance does cover some of IVF (thank God) and we have a max of $15,000 fertility benefits, so we’re at least grateful for good insurance!

HaaaveYouMetTed:  I would’ve chosen the same! Seems like a good middle ground. Really hoping you won’t need the intervention but if you do, at least you’re starting with something non-invasive. If you get to that point, I’d ask for Femara over clomid. Fewer side effects and doctors report better results!

jessc27:  any update?

You guys, my RE is a superhero. I’m a dumbass and realized I was out of stim meds went I went to take my shot last night!! I had all my meds still in boxes in an opaque bag and for some reason I thought most of the boxes were more stim meds but nope, different meds. So I emailed my RE freaking out. He emailed me back within 10 mins saying “meet me the office. I’ll be there in an hour and have samples you can use.” My DH and I are in awe of how above and beyond he goes for us! Now if only my body would cooperate 😕

Ugh I am feeling so sick. Have come down with a terrible cold which is now causing a constant hacking cough. I feel like this is going to do something to the baby. I know they say coughing and being sick won’t hurt it but even when i’ve been healthy a baby hasn’t survived in me and now I feel sicker than I have in ages. I also had a shocking migraine that I always get when something goes wrong in the pregnancy. Still 3 more days until my scan to know what’s going on.

HaaaveYouMetTed:  Glad you guys have a plan and I hope the next cycles go super fast and you get your bfp without having to worry about any of the 3 options.
