Bees!  I got a bfp yesterday!  I am so scared but so hopeful.  This is the cycle right after my mc… last time I found out when I was already bleeding so I’m feeling a bit better about it… paranoid every time I feel a bit of discharge or go to the bathroom that there will be blood.  I want to work out and live my life but I feel like I should just be sitting on the couch taking care of myself.  I don’t know how to deal with the anxiety.

@bella128:  congrats!  And welcome to the scariest place on earth

๐Ÿ™ I wish I had wonderful advice on how to stay sane but I am not doing a great job at it.  Try to relax and find things that reassure you.  The only thing you can do is take good care of yourself!

@mtler:  How are you feeling???

Last night Fiance told me that he doesn’t want to TTA anymore. We were TTA after the MC because he was worried about money and the wedding, but after spending the day with my family and all my nieces and nephews he got the bug again. AF has fully arrived today and I’ve started on my thyroid meds, and if we got pregnant next cycle I’d be due June 2nd. Yup I’d be big and pregnant on my wedding and might hate that but I just don’t care at this point. Obviously I don’t expect it to happen right away and if it takes a few months I won’t mind at all, but I’m happy that I’m not stressing about TTA anymore. Now I get to stress about TTC again! Yay… lol.

@jny1179:  I am  ok I think.  I have been having pretty consistent cramping for a few days but only a couple tiny flecks of dark blood yesterday  so I am trying to stay calm and hope the cramps are my wee one getting comfy.

I  sorry af arrived but it sounds like you are in a good place to get back on the ttc wagon!  And June 2 is an excellent due date , it’s my bday!  Good luck!

@mtler:  I’m so glad that you’re still doing ok!! I hope it is your bug getting snuggled in!! I’m glad AF arrived, I was terrified of a May 5th due date, 10 days after my wedding. YUCK! Next cycle I know not to obsess over any cramping I may feel before the spotting starts so I’m not obsessed with phantom implantation. I spot every month, it is what it is. I’m hoping with the thyroid treatment, my estrogen and progesterone will get back in line and maybe the pre AF spotting will get better. It’s the worst. Happy Belated Birthday!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

anyone know the bloodwork to ask for with recurrent miscarriages?  I’ve had two in a row and am going to try to get the doc to run some tests next week – if you know what I should ask for that would be helpful!  thanks

Hey Ladies,

I took a break from the Bee because I was obsessing over TTC but I think its time I pop back.  I had a MC in March and we’ve been trying ever since to get another BFP.  My cycles used to be very regular 31 days long with O on CD19….but now?  More like 50 day cycles and O has come on CD39, CD29, you name it.

I’m thinking that I’ll try Vitex this time around and hope that it shortens up my cycle.  Trying to make a baby but having to wait almost two months for each window of opportunity is driving me insane.  Technically we’ve only been able to try 3 times since the MC, so maybe I shouldn’t be so pessimistic about our chances….but time is ticking (I’m 34).

What do you ladies think?  Try the vitex?

@KateByDesign:  Sorry I just saw this. My TSH level was 3.5. My docs office considers 0.2-4.2 normal for a non-pregnant individual. After doing some research, I discovered that many endos prefer a pregnant woman to have a tsh level below 2 so I pushed for treatment to get it down.

@cali_cat:  Welcome back, I’m so sorry for your losses. I don’t have any advice, I am working on getting my thyroid in shape, I have not tried vitex. I hope you have luck with it!

@bella128:  nicolebug gave me a list of tests to ask for, its on page 3 of this thread. Right now all I’ve had is thyroid and am being treated for borderline hypothyroidism and my B12 level is perfect, I’ve had issues with that before due to Crohn’s disease but now it’s normal.

heres a list of the Recurrent pregnancy loss testing my doctor did, i highly reccomend you push for this testing:

Full Thyroid Panel

Protein C&S

Lupus Anticoagulant

Homocysteine

MTHFR

Anti Phospholipid syndrome

Prothrombin

Factor V Leiden

Anti Thrombin 3

Celiac

Folate

B-12

@mtler:  How ya doin lady??

AFM My friend just told me she’s pregnant. She found out Friday at 10dpo so it’s really early but she knows about my struggles and is the one that let me borrow TCOYF so she felt comfortable telling me early. Plus we were going out drinking and she told me she wasn’t drinking because of a new medication, I knew right then, but didn’t want to say anything because it’s such a personal thing. I’m glad she ended up telling me, I’m happy to support her. She’s been trying for a year, kind of, she didn’t have a period for awhile in the beginning. I’m really happy for her. Only a little bit sad for me. Now SHE’LL be the one 9 mos preggo at my wedding!!

It seems like EVERYONE is pregnant. I’m not even saying that from the perspective of someone that’s had a loss or is trying with no luck. I’m just saying – EVERYONE is freaking pregnant! So many FB announcements lately, people at work, I went to the local fair a couple of weeks ago – bumps everywhere. It’s insane. Anyway, this coming weekend is BD time so keep your FX for me! I don’t know if I’ll be able to get every other day in, but I’m going to try! And I’m NOT going to test early this time. And I’m going to TRYYYYYY not to symptom spot. heh. right.

@jny1179:  Oh wow, yah.  I’m glad they’ve treated you.  I was at 2.09 when I started treatment, and the goal is to get me to a 1.  So at 3.5, you definitely needed to be treated.  Glad you pushed for it!

Hi everybody. I’ve been staying off of the boards a little bit more than usual lately because I’m trying to enjoy life and not focus so much on TTC. But I’ve been thinking of all of you. I’m sorry for the losses that have been reported, and excited for the newly pregnant bees. As for me, I am within a couple days of ovulation. This is the fertile window and DH and I taking full advantage of it. Soon I’ll be in the TWW and probably analyzing every little symptom. I’ll be testing September 19.

@KateByDesign:  Yeah i have no problem pushing for what I want. It took me ten years to be diagnosed and treated for Crohn’s disease so I’ll never let that happen again.
