@jny1179:  thanks so much, will be taking this list to the dr next week!  I know how you feel with the babies everywhere – I found out my good friend who got married just before us/we wanted to be preggo at the same time is expecting in February… I’m so happy for her but feeling sorry for myself… and there are babies and mamas everywhere, and advertisements and unwanted conversations about it.  good luck this weekend!

After this failed cycle, I’ve been goggling everything that I could possibly think could be wrong with me.  I am now so deathly afraid I could have blocked tubes.  After all, I did have an ectopic and have been unable to conceive since then (5 cycles).

I made an appointment for next week to speak to a Dr.  Would requesting an HSG this “early” be totally unheard of?  We tried for 3 cycles before the ectopic, and 5 after.

I don’t think asking for an HSG would be unreasonable! Did you have to have the tube removed where the ectopic was?

@jny1179:   Nope (thankfully), I had a methotrexate shot.

@KateByDesign:  I would definitely then. What if there is scar tissue or something in there? I think it’s worth it.

@jny1179:  I’m ok thanks for asking.  Just trying to stay sane til my Monday ultrasound.  Trying to ignore my doubts and focus on feeling pregnant

I thought I would stop my lurking for a moment to let y’all know I just bought two rings from Etsy to memorialize my miscarriage.  It’s two tiny stacking rings, and between the two rings, this quote and date will be on the inside of the rings only: “no power in the verse can stop me 12.25.13”

The date is the would have been due date of my baby. 5 points to Gryffindor to anyone who knows where the quote is from. Tongue Out

I love this quote, and I feel it empowers me to keep on keeping on despite the recent hard times. I love that the message will only be on the inside, for my eyes only when I need a boost. I figure if we manage to get pregnant again, I can get the new baby’s due date added on the ring as well.

I’m currently in the TWW in our first round of Clomid since the miscarriage. I’m nervous but excited. I think ordering these rings has really helped me channel some of my anxiety into something good.

I am also toying with the idea of a calla lilly necklace, with the december birthstone at the center. Per Google, some cultures believed the calla lilly stood for fertility and abundance.

Gah, I’m rambling. Has anyone else done something like this to remember their lost wee ones?

I have my first ultrasound tomorrow at 6.5 weeks and I am terrified.  Never been so scared and nervous in my life!

@mtler:  Try to take deep breaths. Once you see that little baby you will feel a lot of relief.  Good luck tomorrow!

I had a PERFECT ultrasound this morning!  Baby is measuring exactly on schedule at 6w5d with a heartbeat of 131! I am so incredibly relieved (and nauseous!)  looks like this will be our baby!

@mtler:  YEAH!!!!!!! That’s awesome news!!!! I’m so happy for you!!!!

AFM: We completely missed the FW this cycle. The weekend was filled with being either too full of food, too drunk or too hungover to BD. We went out to dinner with friends on Friday night and ate SO MUCH FOOD I could barely function. Saturday morning my stomach was still not feeling great and B had to get up early to go get ready for the wedding in which he was the best man. Saturday night was the wedding and we both went a little overboard on the booze and yesterday we were far too hungover. Last night I had kind of given up and my stomach was still not great. This morning we rushed to get him out of the house and on the road for a work trip. I should be o’ing right around now. On to the next cycle! Happy for a stress free TWW lol.
