@xdaydreams05x:  I am so sorry for your loss, we are definitely a great support group here. It is such an awful thing to go through. I hope that when you and DH are ready to try again that it works out for the best.

I think my FW is over, lots of BD happened so please send your positive thoughts and prayers for a sticky baby my way!  I have a dr appt with a new obgyn on Oct 1 so I will be POAS that morning.  How’s everyone doing?  A sad welcome to our newcomers… this thread is so amazing to let you know you aren’t alone 🙂

@bella128:  Good luck!!

I thought we completely missed the FW, but I also think I o’d earlier than normal so maybe not. It’s a long shot. I’ve been spotting though so I’m likely out.

I’m so sick of this roller coaster. Around 5dpo I had a tiny bit of faint pink tinged water cm, turned to light brown shortly after, then stopped completely. 7dpo I started spotting again in the afternoon, pinkish red mid-day then back to barely anything.

Yesterday (8dpo) more light brown/watery. Last night I was exhausted, AF like cramps, tender BBs, went to bed early. This morning, dark red blood when went for FMU. This afternoon more dark red blood, am wearing a pad and there’s some there. I do spot every month up to a week prior to AF, but it’s usually just light/watery the whole time. This is like a light flow. SO frustrating! The doctor just says “spotting is your normal” uggggggghhhhhhh. I was hoping the thyroid meds would help regulate my cycle but now I’m in the second one since starting it and this is happening. I can’t win! I would just like for once not to be bleeding for two weeks at a time.

@jny1179:   I started thyroid meds 5 months ago and I USED to be a predictable 26 day cycle.  Now my cycles are totally abnormal and I spot for 16 days out of my 28-40 (yep, 40) day cycle.  I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that my body will adjust, but 5 months is a LONG time.

Were you cycles normal before meds?

@KateByDesign:  Ugh are you kidding me??? I have had 28 day cycles my entire life! Since going off of BC in December I’ve still had 28 day cycles, but I start spotting up to a week before AF fully arrives on CD28. I’m going to be really unhappy if my cycles get all messed up now that I’m on the thyroid meds. The whole point of this was to REGULATE my hormone levels which in theory, SHOULD make the spotting go away… now I’m just annoyed.

@jny1179:   Well I’m totally there with you.  Unfortunately, I’ve considered stopping the meds against Dr.’s orders.  But I have such a bad feeling that they are what is keeping me from getting pregnant.  Irregular cycles certainly don’t help the TTC process!!

@KateByDesign:  Exactly!! Well I’ll tell you, I have no problem stopping medication if I don’t think it’s doing me any favors. But I’m going to give this a solid chance before giving up. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks so much for your input, it’s really helpful.

Well. Had my follow up appt after my d&c.  The doctor said everything was fine. I’m supposed to wait for AF to show up one time and then DH and I can try again. This makes me excited and terrified at the same time. The Dr. said that there was no reason not to try agaistand that my cycle should show up like normal. Which would mean I should see AF the first week of October. Until then DH and I are acting like tenagers with the whole contraception thing. It’s weird to have to use those when you haven’t done that for over 5 years. Weirder still is buying them. It was midly traumatic lol. Also she wants me to take two of my thyroid pills twice a week and one the rest of the time like normal. My thyroid was 3.9 when it was tested at the beginning of my last pregnancy, which is within the normal limits, but she said fertility people like it 3.5 or lower. Ive been on my 50mcg of levothyroixne for a few years now and havent had a problem with it.  We’ll see what happens now. Anywho, just thought I’d give an update.

@MrsFireChief:  Glad things are going well. It is scary at first to think about trying again but that feeling fades and the excitement does start to creep back (at least it did for me). I tested at 3.5 after my MC and started Levothyroxine at that point. I’ve read that for fertility it really should be under 2, and especially once you are pregnant it should be under 2. I hope you get your BFP soon!!

I went in and did 21 day testing with my Dr. My progesterone level looks fine, but it’s my Prolactin that seems to be the issue.

Normal is between 11 and 23.  I’m at 30.  So, this could be the explanation as to why I’m not pregnant again and an explanation for my prior loss.

I’m happy this might be the answer I’ve been looking for, but pretty terrified otherwise as it could mean a tumor.

I’m only going off of what my chart said on the portal, so I’m just playing the waiting game until I hear back from my Dr.

Just wondeing what, if anything, you are going to different the next time around. These are some things I’m thinking about

drinking less or totally cutting out coffee (dr says not necessary, but I dunno)

Starting DHA vitamins as soon as I get the positive (I’m already on prenatals, but they don’t have DHA in them)

Not eating ceaser salads or any salad dressing that contains cultured milk and/or eggs

just wondering if y’all are thinking like me or if I’m just crazy. Lol
