@jny1179:  Sorry for the very late reply. Thank you so much for your kind words. We are definitely in a better place now compared to two and a half weeks ago. The sadness has lifted and we are looking forward to what is to come.

I wonder how common it is to get KU first cycle after MC? Of course I know it’s possible but you think the chances are pretty high?

I MC two and a half weeks ago. Dr said to allow atleast 1-2 normal cycles before TTC. We aren’t looking to TTC right away but regardless want to follow dr’s orders and have been extra careful since. Well we went to a wedding this past Friday and had the most amazing time. Drinks were flowing and we were breaking out the dance moves … I think you know where I’m going with this … when we got to the hotel room we were so not careful. According to my app that was CD13 … FW would be CD12-CD16 with O date being CD16. I’m now on CD19 and I’m staring to feel twinges and cramping along my lower right side. Am I being paranoid? If we did conceive that night wouldn’t it be way too early to feel anything? I feel like I’m going to be symptom spotting like crazy the next 10 days. We have a big event coming up in a week and half so that morning I will definitely POAS just in case.

Hello, lovely ladies. I am going to join your group, as I lost my first pregnancy in its sixth week. This was on Sept 14-15, so only about 10 days ago. It feels sooo much longer. I am trying to be in a better place, however, and it will all be OK, I hope. A lot of the earlier stories are giving me great hope and I just want to hold on to that for now.

We have decided to wait out my first natural cycle, and then try again. In the meantime, I am going to have a few dental fillings done, try to lose a few pounds, and get back into a positive mind space.

@helena31:  I’m so sorry for your loss. Please know that it all will be OK. I went through the same experience exactly a week before you and the first 10 days were pretty tough, a lot of mixed emotions but it will get better. Stay positive and I hope you get your BFP real soon!

P.S. Our wedding dates are one after the other 🙂

@xdaydreams05x  Thank you for the support and encouragement. How sad it is that we are in this moment together, only a few short months after the happy wedding days. But also, I feel fortunate to have found this thread where I can share and get hope. I am definitely on my way out of the overwhelming sadness. But I also cried today again. Please keep us posted on what happens with testing!

@helena31:  I know! I was thinking the same thing when I saw your wedding date and your post 🙁

As generic as it may sound it just wasn’t meant to be, that’s how I personally look at it. The only good that came from this experience was the fact that it grew DH and I closer together and made us realize what we really want in life . The sadness and tears are needed, it helps get all those emotions out. I went through spurts of being ok one day and crying the next.  It will come and go, just takes some time to heal.

Yes I will keep you all posted (POAS Oct 5th AM).

X posted from 6+ months TTC thread:

Well it looks like my high progesterone and high prolactin were due to the fact that I am pregnant.

If you don’t sense the excitement, it’s because I started spotting brown blood about 10 minutes after taking the test.  This was exactly what happened to me when I had my ectopic.

I am terrified and of course it’s a Saturday so there’s not much I can do in the way of talking to my Dr.

I wish I could be excited, but the fear has completely taken over.

So bees, I got a bfp this morning but we aren’t getting excited, we’ll see if this one sticks. This is my 3rd pregnancy in a row but I feels very different than the last two that didn’t end well. Please send sticky baby dust! Going to the dr on Tuesday, I got a new one.  I’m 2 days past when AF was due and I don’t really have any symptoms, but 2 pee sticks say +

@xdaydreams05x:  It is absolutely possible to get pregnant right away and I’ve heard/read that there is not any higher risk of problems if you do. However, the cycle right after MC isn’t necessarily normal so don’t expect to ovulate right on time. The twinges you are feeling might just be ovulation. My cycle after MC was 5 weeks long (normally a 28 day girl every time) and I have NO idea when I ovulated. I thought I did like 3 different times. I also thought I was pregnant again and nearly drove myself crazy. I hope you can relax and just hope for the best but expect AF. Either way, good luck!!!

@jny1179:  You may be totally right about the twinges being ovulation. I’m trying my best not to get my hopes up but I can’t help but think I’m pregnant. I guess I want a baby more than I thought. DH and I discussed waiting but it’s all I can think about now. My good friend got her BFP this morning and while I’m SO happy and excited for her I’m a little sad too (so selfish I know).
