@MrsRugbee:  I spoke  to my Dr this week who thinks my levels were low because I am not as far along as I think I am.  Honestly I was paying a lot of attention so I kinda think she is wrong but she wants me to redo my levels on Monday and Friday so we’ll see!  Fingers crossed!  I am glad u haven’t heard from  ur Dr. No news is good news!

@As_You_Wish:  That is so interesting, I had never heard that sex during pregnancy can be dangerous. Even the notoriously-paranoid “What to Expect…” says it’s okay. Wow I would be so upset if that’s why the first MC happened…

@As_You_Wish:  I was told that sex during pregnancy was safe, but once I started spotting I was told not to have sex at all until they could see that everything was alright.  So that information seems a bit contradictory to me.  If it’s not safe in some cases, I would just as soon not do it at all.

So I was in the hospital yesterday for my suction d&c; whooo that was a rough one.  There were no beds in surgical daycare so they put me in the maternity ward.  So on top of the already difficult procedure, I was in with all the expectant and new mothers and babies.  Oh well, I am very glad it’s over now and the doctor said I should expect to bleed lightly/moderately for one week.  That seems doable.

We are to wait 2 natural cycles to TTC again.  Is this what you guys were told?  It seems so long to me but I don’t want to put any future pregnancies at greater risk either.

@MademoiselleL:  We were told to wait two cycles also–one period after MC, and one after that. It does seem like a long time, but we followed the advice bcause we thought better safe than sorry.

@hippomama:  Ok so you would get your first period post mc, then you wait until the next one, and once you have your following period you can TTC that cycle?  That doesn’t seem so bad.  I was thinking two cycles was three periods for some reason.

@MademoiselleL:  Yeah, just 2 post-MC AFs, then we were told we can TTC on the next O cycle.

I’m so frustrated right now–still no AF. It’s been 30 days. I got my last AF about 33 days after the heaviest day of my MC, so maybe that’s my new cycle length and I just need to be patient. I’ve tested for pregnancy 3 times and gotten BFNs. I just can’t help it–for someone whose AF used to come like clockwork, even being a couple days off is very disconcerting and frustrating.

I also haven’t been testing using first morning pee but rather midday, and I drink fluids like a camel. So I’m hoping there may still be a chance of a BFP, but I think by the date of a “missed period” even midday testing would show up positive, so I’m probably just kidding myself. So frustrating.

@As_You_Wish:  Congratulations! So glad your LO is thriving–I am tearing up too, I can only imagine how you felt today when you heard it. So, so happy for you.

AF came on Sunday–it seems my cycles are now 30 or so days. But Darling Husband and I are free to TTC this cycle, and we can’t wait to get started! So glad I had this thread here while I was waiting those couple days–it helps with the stress to have somewhere to vent!

Hi ladies, I’m pretty new to this, I was on the bee when I was planning my October wedding, and am now back on.  Darling Husband and I are ttc after a mc and d&c in December.  We are going on cycle 8 of ttc, and it’s beginning to get a little discouraging.  It happened so quick for us the first time, (we got pregnant the first time we actually “tried” on our honeymoon).  I guess I just assumed it would be that easy again.  Reading some of the success stories give me hope!

Wow… I’ve been on a cleaning spree to keep busy today. I started taking my progesterone again yesterday and it makes me super sleepy.  I don’t want to spend my summer break sleeping my days away– and Darling Husband might killl me if I keep going to the antique store lol— so scrub-a-dub-dub ๐Ÿ™‚

We are not REALLY trying- but I didn’t prevent this month either- (ok… I tried… shhh!)…. but now just to wait & see if we get a bfp.  Seriously, this house is going to sparkle if I keep cleaning for the next 2 weeks.

Hey ladies ๐Ÿ™‚ Just popping in to say I went to the doctor today, after having my betas tested about 4/5 times! As of yesterday, at 5w4d, my HCG was over 16,000! I really hope this is a good sign. My doctor is SO awesome. I must have looked ghostly when he walked in the room because he was very concerned. He said he would have called if anything was wrong, and that I could call his office anytime to get the results of my blood test. It was really reassuring. He still wants me to continue to get my levels tested until my ultrasound on June 24th. 13 more days!

Sending baby dust to whoever needs it. XOXO

Well it looks like MC #2 is on the horizon,  my betas are just not doing what they are supposed to.  They continue to go jut really slowly.  Monday was 528 and today was 658  crap all around.

Hello mc 2, hello  1 year ttc,  hello bitterness
