Alright…irritatedbee over here. I downloaded their template, copied and pasted all my invitees over…and it seems like it’s not accurate. Some people are missing. Others who had “plus one” have their plus one missing : x GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Who has used The Knot’s electronic RSVP function? We have RSVP cards but also the link on our RSVP cards and they’re going out TODAY. I’m home from work finishing them all up and about to go insane. Someone put me at ease and tell me that The Knot RSVP feature works…PLEASE : )

@Moosemaybite: 🙂 Well…… if you really want the honest truth….
I didn’t have too many issues with the template, but I did run into some RSVP issues. Sometimes people would randomly get an error message, so they kept trying to RSVP and kept getting an error message. I would get the RSVP email on my end (like 8 times), so it was really going through, but they didn’t think it was getting through due to the error. Sometimes I would catch it as they started sending multiple emails and I could send them a facebook message or something telling them that their RSVP was received, and sometimes they’d just give up.
Other times people also put in their own manual RSVP – the website clearly says to enter their name exactly as it is on the invitation, but people would still put in a nickname and then it wouldn’t pull them up with their invited party, so they would have to manually enter their RSVP. So then it wouldn’t automatically mark their RSVP in the online system – I’d have to search through my email RSVP’s and find them and mark their RSVP in the website myself.
My aunt got all up in a frenzy because she was so concerned that people were going to be able to find out who was/wasn’t invited by searching through the RSVP function OR that they would RSVP for other people or for themselves when they weren’t invited. I didn’t run into any drama with that, and she worked herself up for nothing.
For the most part, the RSVP online worked well – I did have to track down a decent amount of people for their RSVP’s, but I think that would have happened with paper RSVP’s too.

I was going to use it but at the last minute I didn’t.
I didn’t upload with the template. If you put the names on the Guest List they should automatically show up in the RSVP. (I hope this is what you’re talking about!)
I ended up not using it because it got confusing with cousins with new babies we couldn’t remember the names of, or recent boyfriend/girlfriends we didn’t know the names of. Or just correct spelling. If they go in and type their name it won’t come up if it wasn’t spelled correctly.
