Hi All! So I just saw The Last Song yesterday even though I told myself I wouldnt mainly because I dont like Miley Cyrus. But I read the book the week before and absolutely loved it so I thought Id go see the movie. I liked it, it was good but I found that I enjoyed the book ALOT more! It might not have been the best idea to read it before seeing the movie, I found myself comparing the 2 while the movie was going on and remembering “that didnt happen in the book, it wasnt like that, etc”
Has anyone seen the movie and read the book? What did you guys think? I bawled for the last 100 pages or so of the book and cried a bit during the movie, but not nearly as much as I though I would. (Im not spoiling anything, its a Nicholas Sparks movie/book!!) I guess with the book they had the ability to really dig into the characters, give backstories, etc that made it more enjoyable.
