I was sad over Christmas last week and missing my father. I told Fiance a story about Santa and what my dad taught us about him.

On Saturday I had a letter from Santa in the mail. I guess “Santa” stopped by FI’s work (the postmark was from there) and he must have “told Santa all about me.”

It was the sweetest letter ever and I nearly lost it in tears!

i had an awful day at work yesterday. i came home and there was a card he made on the computer for me.. it had the number 24 all over it with hearts and details saying i know the last 24 hours havent been the best but i want you to know that im looking forward to the next 24 and the next 24 and the 24 after that. forever and a day. and then i had some flowers and a relaxing bath at night.

definitely always does something special when im upset, not feeling well or had a stressful day.

in general i think i am super blessed and my fiancee is unnormal – he puts all of my friends boyfriends husbands and significant others to shame!

yay for bees with good men πŸ™‚

I had an awful day last week. My boss unloaded a ton of extra work on me, I was getting sick and fighting with my mother. It was just bad. I didn’t mention anything to my Fiance but he could tell when he called me that afternoon that something wasn’t right.

When I got home I had the pleasure of finding a dozen red roses and a card from our pups wishing “mommy” a better day tomorrow and this was to remind me that they loved me and would be lost without me.

It is really the little things. I should marry this guy. πŸ˜‰

I’ve had a rough week, and I’ve been super depressed at how messy our apartment has become. I came home yesterday to a SPOTLESS apartment, Christmassy candles lit and homemade sweet potato biscuits in the oven. God bless my man.

Well I can’t think of anything he did recently that was over the edge sweet. But last night as I was cooking dinner my husband said to me, ” You know you get more and more beautiful every year. I can’t wait to see what you look like when you are in your 30’s.” πŸ™‚

A little goofy, but he had Santa “call” me through a site he saw on the internet. It made me laugh. He also told me the other day that I was all he really wanted, and now all he wants is to give me everything I want and to provide the best life possible for us. I smiled for a while after that one :).

Right now! I’m in a stinking mood, don’t know what I want for dinner so he went to the shop and phoned me to let me know what they had so I can pick. I am cooking his dinner in return πŸ˜€

I was away over the weekend baking cookies with my mom. I had gotten a call from my husband saying that we forgot to put up our ornament we got from the Bahamas! I told him to make sure it got on that tree!

I got home and notice that he had it on the coffee table next to the tree. He was waiting for me so that we could put it up together. I thought that was so darn sweet and thoughtful of him.

I used to drive to a lot of different locations for promotional work & Fiance would always do his best to draw me maps of the area since he knew it so much better than I did. He also saves his work christmas present for me every year for me to open when I get home. His boss always gets everyone something from Tiffanys (why idk he’s a mechanic!) and he know’s I just adore the blue box!

@LizLemon: My coworker did that Santa call to me earlier today! I think you can do them on the google homepage. So funny πŸ˜€

It’s not exactly special, but it is a true testament to what an amazing and selfless person my future husband is…

Last Thursday I found out my uncle (technically great-uncle) passed away.  It shouldn’t have been a shock (he was sick and very old), but it was the first time a close relative of mine has passed away.  He was like a third grandparent to us.  I was beside myself with shock and sadness and grief.  He hugged and talked me through it.  An hour later, he got notification that he’d been accepted to medical school…something we’ve been waiting years and several application cycles for.  He was overjoyed, naturally, but he remained focused on what I was going through even though I was trying so hard to be happy (which I genuinely was, but I was also so very sad), and assured me that being sad was okay and that he was there for me and understood.  He even ran a bath for me and brought me a margarita.  i felt so bad because that should have been his evening of rejoicing and celebrating, but he selflessly let me grieve and saved the  celebration for the weekend.

I walked our Dirty Delete to school this morning, and when I got home, Fiance had left me a box of chocolates on our coffee table. He also BBMs me every day while I’m at work to tell me he loves me.

My Fiance takes me to see the Nutcracker every year.  He usually falls asleep during the Sugar Plum Fairies but I love him for trying!  He even gets up during the intermission to get me hot chocolate πŸ™‚
