@imaynaya:  we had about 50 RSVP yes that didn’t show ! Luckily we didn’t. Do a dinner just cake and punch and we ended up sending huge boxes of cup cakes home with everyone since we had two for each person we had so many extra

1. I forgot to put reserved signs on the first two rows for family. So, my grandma was in the 6th row or something…assuming people will be generous and sit toward the back if they are not family is stupid. People are selfish.

2. I forgot to put the guest book out…oops! I just laughed this one off.

3. My stepmom told my two half sisters (who were not my BMs) to wear the EXACT same color as my BMs. Tacky.

4. My bustle was totally effed by the end of the night too…haha.

To be honest, I didn’t really notice any of these things until after the wedding was over. I just rolled with it and had a great time! That is my advice to any bride…just roll with it, because you WILL forget something. You’re only human.

Our wedding was in Las Vegas and by the day of our wedding my feet were SO sore and blistered from walking the strip that I couldn’t wear my wedding heels. I ended up wearing a pair of old heels and then switching into a pair of flipflops.

Also I played with my hair a little bit too much before the wedding (I wore it down, teased, and curled) and it went a little limp by the end of the night.

All in all, not too bad, but brides – give your feet a break before the wedding and don’t touch your hair! Lol

ETA: Oh and my baby sister who is a year and a half old and was going to be my “flower girl” ended up being sick that day and had to stay at the hotel with her dad. I was so disappointed that she couldn’t walk the aisle or dance with me at the reception, but I know she would have been miserable had she been there.

@sbottiani:  +1 on the bustle. Not only was it wrong but during our first dance my hubby stepped on it and ripped it. By the end of the night it was dragging all over the floor and pulling open the seam where I altered the slit.

Excuse the face but this was the best pic where you could see all the damage. That dress is still bustled… well whatever wasn’t ripped up yet was still bustled.

Make sure when you have a song on your must play list that you specify that you (the bride & groom) should be in the room. We missed one of our favorite songs when we were talking to people outside.

My BM’s tied my dress wrong. I had no idea until I saw this pic: D’oh! It stayed like that all night, no one noticed, and it stayed up. I guess that’s a win.
