Hello my fellow bees, i am back for some constructive criticism with my dress.
My date is six weeks away and after several years of trying to loose weight my body have suddenly gone into rapid weigh loss mode. As much as i am loving it. It is sad because my dress isn’t fitting as it should. I am down to size 14 from an 18.
Question 1. Do you see anything wrong with this dress?

@ashron: Wooo congrats on the weight loss!
The dress looks lovely! I don’t see anything wrong really…
it looks as tho those straps are too long? and the hem?
Is this a trick question?! haha
I think it looks great!

@KimmySumShuga: ditto 100%
@ashron: Looks great. As it is corset-backed, it can accomodate weight loss because you can tighten the ties. If anything, maybe shorten the straps. Not sure about hem length because that also has to do with your shoe choice.

I can only see that the straps need to be more fitted. Other than that looks great. Congrats also on the weight loss.

Congrats on the weight loss! I think the corset back really helped it accomodate your smaller size–the dress looks like it fits well! Perhaps the straps could be shortened, but that’s such a quick fix. I love the drama of the train. The dress really suits you!

Congratulations, well done on the weight loss. The dress looks great on you. Maybe tighten the straps! But apart from that alls good!

I don’t see anything wrong!

Congrats on the weight loss – I agree with PPs, other than maybe tightening the straps, I don’t see a thing wrong!

Thank you all so much.
My sister took one look at the photo and said that dress is not you, but then she added, i have never seen you in a dress before.
Yep my wedding dress is my very first dress in over 25 years.
@KimmySumShuga: The hem, do you think it is ok at that length? I wanted to cut it by my Maid/Matron of Honor said no.
@dancindiva: I am wearing my shoe of choice. but looking at the photo, the bridal slipe/petticoat……seems…. a bit short

@ashron: I would agree wtih that. The petticoat/crinoline kinda stops about 2 inches from the floor. Is there a wear to wear the crinoline lower or get it elongated slightly? Besides that, looks good to me!

@takemyhand: Thanks, i will try it again and see

The only thing that I see wrong is maybe the hem and the straps. It looks beautiful though 🙂

I don’t see anything wrong other than how unhappy you look in your gorgeous dress!
Truly, you look lovely pretty lady. Smile! You don’t have a thing to worry about 🙂
If you lose any more weight between now and the wedding, you just have to shorten the straps a little (EASY fix!!) and tighten the corset laces..
ps – congrats on the lost weight!!
