MemberAwww **hugs** I’m sorry he left you feeling so frustrated about it. I feel your pain when he wants to buy all these things and your ring isn’t on the list. Hopefully this will prod him to pick a date a bit closer to the original timeline and not so far in the future. I like that you talked again and he was was willing to at leat do it before the end of the year. I’m crossing my fingers for you 🙂

MemberI have a silly idea regarding the whole Valentine’s Day thing – take a calendar, and with a lot of spare time and work, mark EVERY day on it “Purplebee and Mr. Purplebee’s Special Valentine’s Day” with a heart, and then hang it conspicuously somewhere but don’t mention it. (This would be easiest on a computer with copy and paste)
That might assuage his feelings about his probable chosen proposal day, and it will kinda communicate that you would like ANY day that he’d choose to do it…
