2 of my 6 bridesmaids will be wearing this dress in NAVY.
I always wanted something different, and I think this dress is perfect. It’s simple but cute, and I think the girls will still feel pretty.
What do you think?

I definitely think the dress is adorable – but it looks like it is very short! If your girls are cool with short dresses, though, then I think it is a good choice! Are you going to have them wearing high heels?

I love Betsey Johnson and the dress is really cute. The waistline bugs me a little though. The basque waist with the gathered skirt kind of reminds me of an 80s prom dress… No matter. I would still wear it.

i think it’s cute, but wouldnt likely be something i would wear again since it’s taffeta (i agree with zippylef–sometime says 80’s to me). however, i just was curious if you talked to your girls about a price limit..betsey johnson dresses tend to be pretty expensive.
but if you like it, and they can afford it..go for it.

I think the dress is super-cute, but Betsey Johnson dresses have NEVER fit me right–like, no size has ever come close to not being impossibly tight in one place and impossibly long or loose in another. Also, she uses a lot of itchy synthetic fabrics, which bug the heck out of me. I could be unique in these matters though…

it actually hits the knee. it just looks super short on the model.
and it was on sale at the betsey store for 148!!!

I LOVE BETSEY JOHNSON! That dress is adorable. What are the other Bridesmaids going to be wearing?

I’m not really fond of strapless dresses on myself, they’re just plain uncomfortable. I can never seem to find a strapless bra that doesn’t slide down and I really shouldn’t go without a bra!
Either way, it is a cute dress! I second robinlinz question, what are the other girls wearing?

I love it!
As long as the fit/look will suit your bridesmaids I think it’s adorable.
I would wear it again. I think it’ll look great in navy too. Are they wearing heels? if so what color?

I just saw your comment that says it hits the knee, so I originally voted for “it’s OK” but I want to change my vote to “Yes I love it.” I was worried that it would be too short. Glad to see that the price is reasonable too.

I think it’s super cute. What are your other BM’s wearing?

well, this is where i could your advice
i am doing a peacock theme. jewel tones, very formal, and lots of bling.
the ceremony is in a ball room with very old decor (so no bright colors, they would compete with the venue) and the reception is at a museum.
I have 6 maids. I can’t decide if I want to do all girls in different shades of blue, or 2 girls in navy, 2 girls in dark green, and 2 girls in eggplant. those three colors are sort of the main vibe of the peacock theme, but i don’t know if having three different colors would be too much cause i am already doing different dresses.
should I opt for 3 shades of blue? (navy, marine, and royal?)
look at some peacock feathers and tell me what you think!

And these are the shoes we will be wearing. ALL the maids will be wearing the black pumps, and I am wearing the glitter ones.
Some of the girls are also wearing fun hoisery (lace, fishnet, polka-dot, etc.)
They are all wearing their own gaudy jewelry as well.

I LOVE this dress and wish I was one of your BMs! What are the other 4 BMs wearing? A completely different dress? I’d probably put them in the same color if that’s the case.
Can’t wait to see the pictures, this dress is so cute and fun!

this is what it looks like in navy.
but a little more volume at the bottom, and a good 2-3 inches longer.
now, what dresses to go with it?
