this may sound weird but i want to match my band to her band like the one that matches her ring is like 15 diamonds but i want t take the middle five out and put blue diamonds in and then my ring have five blue diamonds in a row to match. and i think i want to go with colbolt crome

I think your idea of a ring sounds really cool.  In terms of metal, if you want to be able to resize you need to stick with gold/platinum/palladium.  Titanium and tungsten is a popular choice because it is less expensive than other metals and has a much different look and color.  However, it cannot be resized.  I have a $12 titanium band I wear to work…it has no sentimental value so if I ever need a different size I will just buy a new one.  My real rings are platinum.  They are easy to size if you take them to a reputable jeweler.  My DH’s ring is white gold.  If I had to do it over, I would have gone with palladium or platinum.  Due to his body chemistry, he needs it redipped a few times a year.  It is easy to size, however.  Any precious metal can be resized and worked with at a reptable jeweler.  Hope that helps!
