KKJohnson :  have you thought anymore about a new setting or are you keeping the one you have? Either way will be amazing. But I must say your stone perched up even in a solitaire type would be INCREDIBLE! Like seriously celebrity status! I love it! And I love the size, the color everything!

marriedalready69 :  OKAYYYYYY Now that is what I am talking about. I LOVE THEM!!!!!  The color on both are amazing. So I have to know what is your original or official wedding ring? And do you interchange them or have one that is your wedding and the others are RHR? No reason for asking just for fun.

marriedalready69 :  So both of the above are diamonds? What are the color specs? The newest one I got my jeweler first described it as an M with brown/champagne undertones. Now my jeweler grades very hard. I went to jarads just to look around when I was at the mall that’s the same day when I went to helzberg and saw the moissanites, and I was telling the sales rep what my jeweler said and he agreed he also said my diamond was maybe a C1 or C2 even on the champagne scale, which I am on the fence with that too. Only because I just am not too educated in that area. I am curious to see what my jeweler puts on my appraisal. I LOVE your rings!

marriedalready69 :  I totally agree. I think diamonds with color actually shine and reflect light completely differently than diamonds in the more colorless scale. I mean of course the thought of having some 2+ carat excellent cut, colorless near flawless stone is a little dream. BUT I will say my mom has a 1.7 carat, highest grade for a cut with the GIA with one extra facet (our jeweler got the stone originally as a 1.8 carat and it had a bad cut so he had it sent off to be re-cut then it came back so beautiful that he had it GIA cert) Anyway, its a VSI or VVSI I cant remember but its pretty flawless GORGEOUS diamond. Its graded as a K. You can see the color FOR SURE, BUT it is cut so beautifully and so shiny, Oh and it has florescence I think faint or medium? But her diamond is a show stopper. Photographs horribly, I have never really taken time to try and capture it, so I told her the next time we are together I will get some really nice photos of it, but the color on her diamond actually makes it so beautiful. I always thought color was not a good thing to have in a diamond but after joining the bee and seeing everyone’s ideas and thoughts and images (real images) it has just opened up my eyes to the infinite realm of diamonds. This diamond I have now does not have the greatest cut and that makes a way bigger difference than color. For me, cut is number one, then clarity/carat depending on each other then color. and when I say clarity I mean nothing with hundreds of carbon spots all over it. Although color can hide some carbon spots. Again like you said they’re like finger prints no two are the same. I literally LOVE them all.

First post! This picture was from after he proposed! We’ve been engaged about 3 weeks now ☺️

He’s always known I’ve liked this cut, and he surprised me with this! He said it was the best looking marquise he’d ever seen and knew that was the one he had to get. I don’t know any of its specs besides it being over 1ct, marquise diamond solitaire, and more than he wanted to afford lol!

I’ve gotten compliments where girls add they didn’t even know about this shape!
