This ring is valued at $1,600,000. It was sold at an auction for almost $1,500,000. Does it look worth it to you? It’s almost 30 carats. I’m so not crazy about pears set like that anyway, but I just can’t see paying that much for this ring.

That actually is cheap compared to some celebrity rings of a much smaller size!

It looks kind of silly to me.. and impractical to wear …ever.

do not like at all, and would be obnoxious to wear! If i just HAD to drop 1.5 mill on jewelz itd be a serious diamond necklace made of many perfect stones.

C’mon I like my sparkle/bling as much as the next gal but that is just ridiculous! Think of all the good (hungry children, homeless, education ) that $$$ could do !

Am I in a cage fight?
Am I a mobb wife?
Do I need a ring that can be used as a weapon for gouging eyes out?
I do not like or need this weapon-ring

that would drive me crazy how the pear shape is to the side instead of up and down!

I don’t like it at all. It’s really cloudy & ugly.

That is one ugly piece of jewellery.

It looks like its not the best quality diamond either..for that much money it definitely shouldnt show so many inclusions..its not even pretty

Bridey77: Straight up, it looks dumb. Price does not account for class!

future.mrs.koban: There seems to be a trend with setting pears this way recently. It makes me nuts, because I feel like it’s crooked or something!

Bridey77: I can’t wait for the “Is my ring too small?” thread! 😉

I looks like the setting is loose or broken when it is set like that. I would never go out in public with a literal rock on my hand like that. I would be afraid someone would steal it right off of my hand!
