Ivanka Trumps wedding dress is absolutely GORGEOUS. I’m so in love with it and it kinda looks like Princess Grace’s dress and no one can dispute the timelessness of that.

I agree with Princess Grace’s dress. As popular as strapless dresses are now, they are actually fairly new in the grand scheme of fashion history so they will look dated compared to other styles. But every generation, and individual for that matter, has their own idea of what classic and timeless is. For that reason, there isn’t any single style or element that everyone across the board will agree on. Wear whatever makes you feel gorgeous and don’t pay attention to what other people say. Of course, in 50 yrs (or even 10) the fashions will have changed but it shouldn’t make you regret your dress choice given the timeframe you chose to be married in.

I think Jackie Kennedy’s wedding dress is timeless. I could totally see a girl today wearing this dress:

I loooooooooved the dress Penelope Cruz wore to the Oscars last year.  It’s a vintage Pierre Balmain dress from 1950– so amazing.  I’m not sure if it had straps originally, but it’s pretty darn timeless and classic.  🙂
