So both of my girls are climbers. My older daughter began climbing out of her crib at 11 months. I was super happy that my younger daughter made it to 16 months.. but I knew it was only a matter of time. So over the past week we have moved her to a toddler bed. The transition has gone really well and she now loves her “big girl” bed. I wanted to give some hope in case other mommies are facing this dilema!

Not looking forward to when we have to move little boy out of his crib! He is 15 months (he was a premie) so little behind on things. He hasn’t figured out climbing out of the crib yet. Thank goodness. He is finally figuring out the walking deal, so am assuming in the coming months will be time for the transformation of his crib to toddler bed. (it is one of those convertible ones.

@Sassygrn: We have a convertible crib too. I’m glad I chose it because I’d hate to have to buy a new bed. (She’s my only, his youngest with his oldest being 14 so no old beds around.lol)
