They’re cute but overpriced. There’s a couple of Etsy sellers that make similiar boxes for a fraction of the price. There’s even tutorials out there for making them yourself.

I say not worth it. There is a thread on here about them already, I think.

Why not search velvet ring box on etsy, there are better and less expensive alternatives out there.

Oh no, this thread always get fun…

No, I do not see the draw to tiny expensive box when I have a jewelry case

mushface:  A lot of us wedding photographers have them, but that’s because we use them for detail photos. I’d never buy one just to use myself.

I’m ordering a similiar box off of Etsy and will likely use it for ‘details’ pictures and then maybe keep it in my purse when I get my nails done.

They’re ridiculously priced, but so are rings in general. I have some. If you’re crafty you can make one.

mushface:  I ordered one the last time they came out because I just thought they were so beautiful and romantic. I measured my ring to make sure it fit after reading a ton of stuff on here about how tiny they are.

They are SO tiny. Like literally the smallest boxes ever, maybe like an inch tall. Even though I measured my ring and it should have fit….it still didn’t fit. It sat up too high for the box. That should give you some perspective to how small they are. I ended up having to send it back although I would have kept it had it fit my ring.

they’re very beautiful but I can’t see spending $80 on something so tiny.
