I got ESFJ! I’m a Provider!

Providers are extremely sensitive to the feelings of others, which makes them perhaps the most sympathetic of all the types, but which also leaves them somewhat self-conscious, that is, highly sensitive to what others think of them. Loving and affectionate themselves, they need to be loved in return. In fact, Providers can be crushed by personal criticism, and are happiest when given ample appreciation both for themselves personally and for the tireless service they give to others.”

Yep…that’s so true!

@spicyrutabaga:  Same here! And I remember when reading the description of INFJ, it fit me EXACTLY, every last detail. Nice to know there are lots of INFJs on the hive!

INFJ.  I think INFJs must just be drawn to the internet/forums, because on every forum I’ve seen this kind of thread pop up on, INFJ dominates.

I took a form of the Myers-Briggs test for school. I don’t remember what my type came out as exactly, but I was essentially “type-less”. On a scale of 1 as barely identifying with a type, and 30 strongly expressing a type, I was a 4 on I, and then a 1 on the other three.

INTP – The Thinker. The blurb describes me so well!

Ideal careers, top of list: ‘Scientists – Especially Physics’.  Glad to know I picked the right job apparently!

Have done this a few times over a few years and always come out INTJ which I say fits me to a tee. I can ‘fake’ being extroverted when times call for it(imprtant parties etc) but it always leaves me emotionally exhausted

@Midgely:  Same here, I can fake being extrovert but afterward I need a large amount of time to myself.

Oh man. I got ESFJ and I was almost knocked off my seat!! So accurate it was like…seeing myself written on paper word for word. I’m going to email it to myself so I can learn from it!! Wow!
