Just use the name Kate? It’s a classic name on its own. It’s also one of my favs!

I’m a Katrina that goes occasionally by Kate. Usually when for some ungodly reason someone repeatedly gets my name wrong, and I give up and go by a nickname. 😉

Kate is a pretty name just by itself though. It’s simple & classic.

Side note: the name Kate always makes me think of this quote from Taming of the Shrew (which is my favorite Shakespeare play):

“You lie, in faith; for you are call’d plain Kate,
And bonny Kate and sometimes Kate the curst;
But Kate, the prettiest Kate in Christendom
Kate of Kate Hall, my super-dainty Kate,
For dainties are all Kates,…”
