It rhymes with “chafe” and reminds me of “rape.” I don’t love it.

Don’t really like Rafe, Raef or Raphe looks better to me. I love the name Rafferty ‘Raf’ for short, but Mr. Roux veto’d it.

I guess I am the only one who didn’t immediately think of “rape.” I do think of Pearl Harbor though, but come on, have you seen Ben Affleck? Not a bad thing!

I like it but then again, my friend named her son Rafael and calls him Raf so I’m used to it.

Not a fan either.  I’m reading a Nora Roberts book and Rafe is one of the characters and I just dont like it.
