When I was planning our wedding I had nightmares all the time, it’s just stress and  worrying about something going wrong, they go away and your wedding will be perfect! 🙂

@cllyons: Nightmares about teeth falling out are supposed to signify stress in your life, so that might explain them? It doesnt make them less distressing though. I hope they ease up and you can start having a decent nights sleep

I know the feeling, I think I had that dream once or twice too.. Try not to stress too much about them, you don’t want them getting worse! 🙂 Try not to eat too late or do anything wedding related a few hours before bed, maybe that will help.

pretty early on in the planning process I had several dreams of Fiance calling off the wedding! I also had a dream that it was his sisters wedding day and since all the family was there already they decided we should just get married that day as well – i was beyond mad because nothing was of my choosing and i was being thrown in to someone elses wedding because it was convenient for the family. haha his sister was married in august and i had the dream after the wedding – it was just weird. Funny what stress does to you.

I havent had dreams in quite a while and im about 4 weeks out – i would take crazy dreams over the non-sleeping spell that i’ve been having.

I just had a nightmare about being at our reception dinner before the ceremony, and my fiance wasn’t there. Obviously he’s not allowed to see me before the ceremony. Everyone was almost done eating and it hit me, where the heck is my Fiance? Oh, he’s not allowed to see me… who the hell planned the dinner reception for BEFORE the ceremony.

I started packing up a plate of food for him because I knew he’d be hungry when I realized I wasn’t in my dress, hadn’t written my vows OR hired anyone to actually marry us. there was only a couple hours till the actually ceremony. Nightmare! I even wished it were a dream, in my dream!

I am stressing about vows & finding someone to marry us though, maybe it’s a sign to get on it.

OMG, I keep having break up dreams! THEY’RE HORRIBLE! The one thing that I absolutely adore and cherish the most about my relationship, the anchor when things get tough is our honesty and loyalty to each other. In nearly 5 years together we have never, ever lied, withheld information or tried to deceive the other. I know this isn’t rare to most people, but it’s a big deal to me.

Anyway, I keep having dreams he’s cheating on me! I end up packing up and taking my ring off and giving it to him. Sometimes I just say “oh, not cool” and leave feeling like “eh, figures this would happen to me” and sometimes in the dream I get pissed and scream and cry.

🙁

@twist In the beginning when I thought of having Bridesmaids and all that I had a similar dream. I had a dream that we were at like a Chuck-E-Cheese / hall type place (so weird) and I was on a stage thinkg “we’re next!” it’s fuzzy now but I remember thinking shit none of the guests got invited, I didn’t have a dress, I didn’t have bridesmaids dresses…AHH

My wedding nightmares have mostly been that the whole wedding happens but I can’t remember any of it and there are no pictures or video….  or there are pictures but I look horrible and all the details of the wedding are nothing that I wanted or liked.

@cosmocity: freaky hey?

My fiance has dreams about me cheating, then wakes up and forgets that it’s a dream and is actually mad at me in the morning. He usually realizes after a few minutes, but he has gotten really mad and not talked to me for a good 5 minutes!! haha.

I JUST had my first wedding nightmare last night. I dreamt that it was our wedding day and I slept way too late and got up rushed to realize that I’d forgotten to make appointments for my hair and makeup. I did it by myself (no one was with me at all…no mom/bridesmaids) and then my hair wasn’t cooperating. Then I went to the ceremony site right before it was supposed to start and nothing looked right and I had forgotten to pick songs for the DJ so there was no music and the officiant was the wrong person!!

It was horrible and I felt really silly lol.

Hahaha! You will be ok. I had nightmares for many months before my wedding, I think it’s normal! Try to relax- do some yoga, deep breathing, and take solace in your bridesmaids and family, they are there to help!
