@sweetcrackers:  haha, that’s pretty funny. Save-The-Date Cards is more obvious, but it gets me just the same. I might start writing out “bridesmaids” now.

Lol my mom is a nurse so my first thought when I hear Bridesmaid or Best Man is bowel movement too.

ETA: I was giggling a little on Tuesday too with all the posts about VD.

Oh gosh, and I hate that the abbreviation for save the date is STD! Yuck!

I still give the side-eye when I see posts titled like this:

I just got my STDs!

Look at pics of my STDs!

My Bridesmaid or Best Man is being a pain in the butt!

Darling Husband doesn’t like my STDs!

lol

@stokieGal:  It’s the same here. Technically I think they’re supposed to be called STI’s to minimize any stigma (infection vs. disease), but I’m not sure that’s stuck.

hahaha… one time I used the STD thing at my sister and she looked very confussed and a little disscusted! I try to refrain from using abbreviations in real life from then on!

Hahaha I used to LOL anytime I wrote Save-The-Date Cards in an email to Fiance or on this forum.  Bridesmaid or Best Man doesn’t get me as much as Save-The-Date Cards does, but both are so freaking funny!  When we were in the early stages of planning I used to write “StheDs” instead of Save-The-Date Cards..but then I realized I wasn’t really saving myself any time.  So funny!!
