I have and I love it!

Granted, I didn’t do it the way they told me to do it.  I just did the ones I wanted in order to supplement my current gym routine.  I love the Cardio X, Yoga X, and Ab Ripper X.  Stretching was great when I was super sore after a hard gym workout!

A lot of the men at my work have done it…with the diet (the extreme home fitness edition).  One’s lost 30 pounds, and the other has lost 20.  I still wouldn’t want to see them topless, but you can definitely notice the weight loss.

The one thing that I think would turn off women is that it’s kind of boring.  The warm up is the same on every single DVD.  The cool down is pretty much the same as well.  But if you can get over that, I love it!

My fiance just ordered P90X and is on the fourth day – so far he likes it! He personally finds the core workouts to be toughest and says the cardio and weights weren’t too bad (but he’s in relatively good shape anyway). My boss did P90X and lost 40 lbs (he is a TOOTHPICK now – but a muscular one!! hehe) but I can tell you that my boss was 100% dedicated – never missed a workout and eats 100% clean (follows the diet to a "t", no sweets, etc). So if you have the dedication/commitment to this program – it’ll definitely work for you.

I’m currently mixing up Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred with training for a half-marathon, but I think once I master the 30DS I am going to start doing the P90X strength videos in conjunction with my running (and skip the P90X cardio – I really prefer to run). I don’t feel strong enough to do the P90X strength videos just yet, but hopefully in a few weeks! I’m 130 days out from my wedding, and all I need is 90, right?! 🙂

My brother is doing it and blogging about it (we’re a blog obsessed family). yayimnotfat.wordpress.com He’d be happy to share his experience with you if you emailed him directly from the blog 🙂

About how long are these workout videos?  I have been hearing some great things about them and am thinking about trying it!

I started off with the Power 90 which is the "beginner" video.  I say "beginner" because it still kicks my butt.  We are moving on to P90X this week.  I cheated and tried it last week, on my day off to see what I was in for and it is the exact same work out as power 90, only a more intense and 15 min longer.  So far i have lost 13lbs, I haven’t measured myself but I definately see an improvement and looser jeans.

I recommend the video its a little intense at first but you get used it!

Ok, I replaced the batteries on my scale and weighed myself this morning…and it is NOT GOOD.   I’m really thinking of jumping in to this program, just wanted to see if anyone had any (more recent) experiences with P90X?

@Ms. MoxieMonkey: Do it!! It’s amazing! I’m currently going a different Beachbody workout program (Insanity…hardcore cardio, basically!) and I love it. But I have done p90x before and its a wonderful workout! But you do have to have some equipment at home so if that’s not in your budget, you might consider starting with a different program.

@ChantelleyLace: Thanks! I think I’m gonna go for it.  I’m hoping I can fit in the workouts before I leave for work in the morning.  I’m just too exhausted at night.

How long is each workout? An hour?

I’m halfway through week 2 of P90x, and I’m already seeing a noticeable difference in my abs.

Most of the workouts are an hour.  If you have the days where you’re doing the ab video, that adds an extra 15 minutes, and the yoga video is 1.5 hours.

I did have to skip the ab video yesterday because I somehow managed to pull an ab muscle doing a plank during the core video on Monday.

I have them and the equipment. I do great until yoga day, Yell for some reason yoga isn’t my thing. I like to cuss at Tony while I’m doing it lol. It’s probably my favorite set though and plyometrics are amazing!

I just bought the new Brazilian Butt Lift tapes by Beachbody, but haven’t tried them yet.
