I am on day 1 of phase 2 today…down 16 lbs…and lots and lots of inches…and 3 dress sizes!!!

I am following the diet to a T…and haven’t missed a workout

I LOVE the workouts!! I am on week 7 and haven’t really changed shape though, but I was in pretty decent shape to start with. I’d say my arms and legs are getting more muscular/defined, but I had good abs before starting; so the changes don’t show that much. I haven’t taken any pics though.

But I feel so healthy and strong with these workouts, P90x rocks!

I’m doing it! I just started Phase 3 and have a little under 6 weeks until my wedding. I am even throwing in cardio X 2 or 3 days a week to kick it up a notch. I have lost 15 pounds so far and almost FOUR INCHES from my bust (damn lol) 3 inches from my waist and 2.5 inches from my hips. My legs and arm measurements don’t seem to be changing but you can tell it’s muscle replacing fat. I can see my triceps and biceps now and my quads are NICE lol My back is looking very toned as well. And I was  overweight to start and I have been able to keep up for the most part. I mean, I can’t do plyo pushups and things like that yet, but I’m hanging in there and sticking to the schedule. I also eat low carb/high protein and I have no cravings. I am a true believer because I think I look like a new person! and I am not even done yet.

I have done it…….the whole 90days! I did the Doubles! OMG!!! what a work out. i got in the best shape of my life. gotta stick to the strick diet though….that is a must.

I start on Chalean Exteme this week! i’m excited, new work out!

Fiance and I are on week 5, day 2!! We have not skipped a single workout and for the MOST PART we are sticking to the nutrition plan/diet. I say for the MOST PART because we let ourselves “cheat” on Sundays and eat treats, like cake, pie, etc. We always say “We’re treating, not cheating” LOL. Also, I have to have chocolate in some way, shape or form every day so I usually sneak a handful of m&ms.

I have to say I highly recommend P90X. I am a runner/triathlete so I was in decent shape to start with, but Fiance was definitely not in great shape. He wasn’t overweight, but he just wasn’t fit. He finally decided he wanted to start working out and asked me to order P90X for his birthday. I did, and we’ve been doing the workouts together every morning since! I lost 7 pounds at the beginning but I’ve gained 4 back, and I’m assuming it is muscle (I wasn’t looking to lose much weight, I am 5′ and hover just over 100 lbs.) My arms feel so toned, and my abs look better than they have in years. My butt’s nice and firm too. Tongue out

The changes in FI’s body are incredible. He dropped about 10 pounds and man he looks toned already! I can see lots of definition in his arms, abs, and back. He loves it and says he feels great. We are taking our 30 days pics on Wednesday!

Honestly, we love the nutrition guide. I am basically cooking the meals from the weekly meal plan, and they’re really good!! For example, today for breakfast we had oatmeal + raisins, and skim milk + vanilla protein powder; morning snack was a protein bar; lunch was shrimp pasta pomadoro; afternoon snack was a cheese stick; dinner was a lean burger, a big salad w/ tomatoes and cukes, and sliced melon. Yum!

If you can commit and stick to it, it’s totally worth it!

 

@Ms. MoxieMonkey: Let us know how it goes! You should be able to do it in the morning, and I think the workout will actually energize you for the day.

@FutureSpice:  if you love P90X….you will want to try out Tony Horton’s Bun Shaper. It’s a 2 in 1…..works your legs and your bum 🙂
