Exactly! And I completely agree that sometimes there is a reason for it. Oftentimes women’s clothing has more details, such as beading or embroidery, and I expect to pay more for that. I also know that obviously the pink tax isn’t always a thing, but I have noticed a trend. It was annoying because someone commented, on that same FB thread with a YouTube link to a video where a woman was trying to debunk the idea that women pay more for some same items that men buy. One of the examples she held up was a basic men’s razor, and then one of those huge women’s razors with replaceable heads and the huge block of moisturizer around it. It’s so annoying to insult people’s intelligence that way. Of course there’s a price difference between those two types of razors!

This topic makes my head explode! So ridiculous of people to pretend it doesn’t exist…much like when people say there is no such thing as racism.
I like the idea of giving a whole new meaning to “blood in the streets”. Let’s see how much of a necessity menstrual products are then!
(In Canada we got rid of the tax on menstrual products)

It was because of a guy like that I left social media. Remember the uproar when Kiran Gandhi ran the London Marathon without a tampon?
