- Winter Garden

- Wedding: January 2011
For about a year I have been planning my wedding. I couldn’t believe when I was proposed to in Cinderella’s Castle in Disney World. Yes it was a true Fairy Tale.
First came finding a location for our wedding ceremony. Of course we decided to hold our ceremony at the beautiful Norton Chapel on Keuka Lake. Not only is it a spectacular location for a wedding ceremony, but I knew that I would be treated like a princess!!! If you can’t have a fairytale wedding in Disney then create one in your hometown. That is exactly what we are doing. We are creating a Winter Garden within Norton Chapel.
It has taken us a lot of time to create the look that we desire for this magical day. We have had a lot of assistance from my family, friends and co-workers. Not only have I had assistance, but some of my co-workers actually hand crafted items to go down the aisle in Norton Chapel.
I am so excited to see the elegant look when it takes place.
Now for the Reception. We have decided on a location that is known for their elegance and somewhere that will help to make our wedding so special. Not only is this place beautiful, but it is somewhere that is dear to my heart, seeing as I actually opened the doors to this location, with my wedding coordinator up there about seven years ago. Truly special!!!
We will be having a sit down meal, with flowers surrounding you, light and crystal. Favors have been handmade my mother. She has really out done herself this time. Dresses are absolutely beautiful, and all and all this will be the event of the year in our family 🙂 Or at least in my opinion!!!
So as we are approaching the day I am busy finishing up escort cards, getting my hair done, picking up my bridal gown from final alterations and most exciting of all creating the seating chart this weekend!!!
