I’m really sorry to hear that.

Was it the ink from the stamp cancelling machine?

@MrsTillerResq: Ah yeah. That’s the reason we decided to put our “postcards” in envelopes because the bottom bar code would have covered our website information.

This is why I talk everyone out of postcards.

Sorry that happened.  Hopefully that only happened to a few of them.

@mwitter80: Microsoft office has the barcodes built into their system when you do postcards, there is a box marked barcodes, check it and it puts them right below the address.  I have never had the stickers put on by the post office.  Maybe I should add that to my tutorial list.

Aww I’m so sorry! Unfortunately, that happens with a lot of save the date post cards. One of the reasons we didn’t do them. So sorry hun ๐Ÿ™

So sorry this happened!  I know this happens a lot.  We also did post cards for our Save-The-Date Cards but we put them in an envelope for fear of them getting damaged or destroyed.

@tksjewelry: I sent an xmas card, post card, in 2009 from microsoft and the post office turned them over to the other side and ran the barcode over the little one’s face.   It was so sad lol

Wow I’m so sorry ๐Ÿ™ I’m glad I read this though because I had no idea this could happen with post cards.

Good to know this can happen…

For a “test”, I sent a save-the-date postcard to and from me.  We’ll see how it ends up when it gets back to my house in the next couple of days.

Glad that most of your Save-The-Date Cards ended up looking ok.
