@MrsMaine: Just got to the computer and I just wanted to let you lovely ladies know that I am thinking about you two tonight…I feel like 2012 is going to bring great things for all of us!

I have nothing exciting at all to report…on CD6.  I bought (for the first time) an OPK and plan to start peeing on those suckers pretty soon. Hoping to be able to
POAS mid December and suprise the love of my life with a BFP for xmas.  Anyone else testing mid dec??

2PeasinaPod: & @MissMaine: just checked in here for and saw your bad news. I’m so, so sorry. I can’t begin to imagine it. Remember that we are here for you if you need us *hugs*

I miss all of you so much, but I’ve needed to stay away so i don’t obsess over this month’s tww. Got some good news today! I ovulated on my own! 7 dpo progesterone test came back at 11 (over 10 is ovulatory!) i’m trying to wait until Saturday (12dpo) to test. No real symptoms, just tired, but that’s typical for me. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! I’ll catch up again tomorrow night!

@Running Elley:  Now I’m thinking maybe I should lose some weight…I’m 5’2″ and about 130…When I got my bfp positive this summer I was pretty much the same weight.  I fluctuate a little and have proabably put on a pound or two of winter weight.  Maybe I should work on losing that.

@MrsMaine: I wasn’t going to come on the boards until I get my results tomorrow, but I had to respond to your post. This week I had spotting and my hcg started to decrease. I keep going back in forth if I should let this go naturally or have medical intervention. I honestly don’t know how I can just sit here and wait, but at the same time I don’t want to give up.

@bunny:  So awesome that you O’d on your own!  Yipee for progress!!

@misskittykakes:  That would be me!  I’m CD8 and should O around Dec 4th so I’ll be POAS mid-month.  Wouldn’t a pre-Christmas baby be lovely?? I don’t think I would be able to surprise DH though,  because he keeps track of my cycles almost as closely as I do, so he will know the minute I’m a day late! ๐Ÿ˜‰

@jaguar:  Ugh I hate being sick (especially without a motive like morning sickness!  Hope you recover quickly.  Fingers crossed that your ovaries will get a move on once you start feeling better!

@redsmarties: Just a regular ol’ workday here in Saskatchewan too….I’m with you–I would luuuuurve a long weekend right about now!

@chastenet: I’m the same height and weight as you!  I’ve gained a few pounds since the wedding, so I could lose some weight.  Elley said that even a 5% change in body weight can sometimes help.  For us that would be 6.5lbs, which isn’t that bad…I’m sure I could even drop 10 pounds if I actually tried.  (I’m a horrible dieter.  I can lose weight if I do it very, veeeeery gradually, but if I try too hard/lose too fast, I just set myself up for failure and yo-yo back the other way.  Baby steps for me!)

@chastenet: & @MsFarmer: I am also the same size as you ladies, although a lot of that weight is in my (disproportionate) hips. I too am a horrible dieter, since I like to eat and I love my sweets, but I don’t eat a lot of junk food since I’m lactose intolerant and get sick from fast food. I even tried a trainer before the wedding and I ended up gaining inches and weight (which the trainer said was muscle) but I totally freaked out because I didn’t want my hips and thighs to get BIGGER – I wanted them to slim down! So I stopped going haha. I’m just starting to love and respect my body the way that it is (which has been hard, since I used to be a stick figure a few years back- like 102 pounds soaking wet). DH loves my curves though, and so do I. It’s just taking some adjusting. Like you said chastenet – baby steps! I’m starting with loving my body and working my way from there!

@shimmerofheaven:   Hmm, well it’s do-able, If I lost 6 lbs I’d be back at my wedding weight.  I eat a pretty healthy diet and cook most food I eat from scratch.  But I love to eat (and cook, it goes together) so I also indulge and pretty much eat what I want.  When I lost some weight before my wedding I tried to eat healthily and allowed myself to indulge 3 times a week.  I could probably lose a few pounds by going back to that method.  It worked well for me, since I wasn’t on a diet per se, I was just careful besides 3 meals per week.

@chastenet:  & @shimmerofheaven:  Ha, that is kind of cool that we’re all about the same size!

6 lbs would also put me at or just a little under my wedding weight too.  I’m like you, chastenet, that I do a lot of cooking from scratch and do indulge when I feel like it.  I also totally agree that I can’t be on a “diet.”  I just have to practice more mindful eating.  I was 145 lb when I first met my fiance and I lost that weight exactly by doing that and working out a couple times a week (but super easy workouts like walking or jogging).

@shimmerofheaven:  I love my sweets too!  That’s probably my biggest downfall.  Even if I eat super healthy, I still feel like I need to have some sweets everyday.  It doesn’t help that my husband also has an INSANE love of chocolate, so there’s always some in the house.  He can eat it like nobody’s business and not gain an ounce.  Sooooo not fair!  Haha oh well……  I can’t even remember being anywhere near 100 pounds (was a long time ago!) but that must be quite the adjustment.  It’s great you can embrace your curves and love them! Kudos to you!

@PennyLainne:  I’m in South East Saskatchewan, not too far from the Manitoba border.  The weather is gorgeous here today!  We have plus temperatures and the snow is melting so it feels like spring!  I would spend all day outside if I could.  ๐Ÿ™‚  Whereabout in Albert are you?
