I also found this link to the video of my ring. Let me know your thoughts 🙂

I’m confused by M&Co’s info, too, because the video says 3ct. And if you look on conventional MRB charts, 9mm corresponds with 2.65-2.75ct
I think the stone itself is beautiful! I feel that for me personally, 9mm would be past my own comfort level. That’s because I have an 8mm stone and that already gets a lot of attention. If you have more affluent friends, or if larger stones are common in your circles, 9mm may be very appropriate (whatever that means – lol)
My ring here is sized to a 4.25 if that helps (though my finger is actually 3.75)

I think it is perfect. Believe me even if you think it is a little on the large size now you won’t for long. Shrinkage is real!!

love your new Avr Amora gem. I know they just came out recently. Congrats on your engagement.
it’s pretty but big. I wonder if there is a discrepancy with the carat wt because they are using the actual carat wt of moissanite which is lighter than genuine diamonds? As it’s a dia simulant, most of the time moissanite is marketed in diamond equivalent wt (ie dia size it imitates)That would explain the difference in carat wt.

Thanks for the compliment, but my e-ring is a diamond AVR. I actually just heard from Jon today that the 8mm AG’s will be out in 3 weeks! I’ve been seeing the 8.75mm’s on CVB designs’ IG, and I’m getting antsy! We have a deposit down to get one of the 8mm’s for a replica ring!

The colours coming off of that stone are amazing! Congrats!

Beautiful ring! As PPs mentioned, the ring in the inspo pic looks to be 8mm/2 carats, and on a thin pave band. I love the size of your stone on your finger though, and I think the plain band really helps to show it off. Congrats!

Moissaniteco posted your pic on Instagram?? I’m so jealous! I stalked their insta hoping to see my ring before my bf proposed 😏. This ring is stunning! Have fun checking out how moissanie reacts to different light situations! This is my favorite part about my moissanite!

After getting home and reviewing the materials that came with the ring, the ring is marked as 2.4 ct and just a smudge under 9mm. Here are a couple photos from different angles. The 8-8.5 mm seem to be close to 2.1-2.3 ct. Is that correct? I contacted my jeweler and I am being told that a 1/2 mm wouldn’t make that much difference. What are your thoughts bees?

Personally I think a .5mm does make a difference, especially on smaller fingers, but you’ll have to decide if you like your current look or you want to chase the ones pictured. You could order some CZ from Chris CZ in the different sizes and see if you like them better in person.

very pretty! It looks slightly larger than the inspo ring in some of your pics, but very similar!

I have emailed Chris. I really think the .5 makes a difference too. I am so torn. I love the stone, but it just seems too large for me and I was really hoping for more of a match to my inspiro photo. I have tried on an 8mm and felt it was just not quite right. I am thinking 8.5mm is the way to go. Thank you so much.

dont do it.. seriously…. you’ll be sorry 🙂 years from now you’ll wish you kept that .5 😉
