I logged back in after taking a LONG break from all things ring related. I was mentally exhausted and needed some space between me and jewelers…
To come back and read all these supportive replies was so refreshing! I know it’s an old post, but if your reading THANK YOU for your honest opinions and insight! ♡ I truly appreciate each and every one of you!
Update- we’re going to Jamaica this Dec to tie the knot, and plan on ordering our bands through Blue Nile. We agreed to upgrade my e ring afterwards as to have time to research reputable jewelers… no rush no pressure and it feels so damn good! 🙂

I wanted to suggest Tacori. Every ring is hand made in California. Check out the Simply collection…it’s the least expensive. If you find a Platinum level authorized retailer, you’ll have your ring in 2 weeks!

AshleyRae8 : Oh dear bee I’ve read your older posts and I had the same problem: the side stone basket was broken and the center stone prongs was not even, and every time the took it back to fix it they’ve ruined something else, like: the center stone was a 5ct yellow sapphire and one of the times they took it back they fixed the prongs but kept the center stone in and they somehow changed the sappire from yellow too white, I’ve was so frustrated with them and like u spent a lot of money and the ring never looked like I wanted it to look, after 6 months we had enough and went to Leibish&co and bought a new diamond from them and they made the ring way beyond my imagination, Leibish the CEO meet me in person when I was there and said to me “I’m sorry for what happened with your jewelr but now you r here and you deserve a new beginning” he was so nice and understanding, he charged me only for the diamond, I gave him my old and deformed ring and they made a new perfect ring for me…the diamond we purchased was expensive but it was worth every penny… I had so many pictures of the sappire ring before and after but I’ve erased all of them just because it was too painful to remember…😣
Dear bee I think u should stop looking for a local jewelry stores and look for companies like Mark Broumand, Leibish&co, blue Nile diamond there are so many… I’m truly sorry for everything you r going through I know how u feel I was there too, sometimes it’s best to pay a little more but to get exactly what you want…

mo86co : Im so sorry to hear you have had a similar experience. Its such an awful feeling and can spiral into an all consuming nightmare! I deleted all my old ring pics too, they just triggered my anger all over again. It feels good to have let it go and move on!
How wonderful you found a jeweler you can trust, I am SO happy you now have the ring of your dreams! ♡
