Beautiful rings! I have a compass-set center stone – love that look! I’m sure your girlfriend will appreciate all the thought you put into finding a a special ring that suits her style and complements yours. Looking forward to hearing about the proposal 🙂 Have a wonderful trip to Vancouver!

Thanks! I never even knew about this setting before but as soon as I saw it I loved it. It’s the perfect design for me.

Thanks for your advice! I have really chubby fingers so the area that the ring sits on it just as wide as my knuckle meaning it can slide over my knuckle easily, but not so easily that it would fall off while swingling my hand or anything. I think I’m used to wearing rings too tightly, but I also don’t like that “squeezed” look that my fingers get when I wear tight rings. I like that my new ring isn’t tight enough to give me this look, especially with the thin band, but I also don’t want to rind losing it somehow.
And thanks everyone else for the nice comments! I am planning to do the proposal on a beach where we spent some time together very shortly after we started dating. I have a few photos of my girlfriend on this beach holding some tiny hermit crabs we found with the ocean in the background and that has been my phone backgroud for almost three years, and the place has always held great memories.

I’ve found some cool “ring boxes” made from real sea shells on etsy and amazon and my plan is to pull out the box while we’re beach combing for shells and tell her to check out the cool shell I found and look at what is inside of it! Hopefully she’ll be surprised and think its cute, haha

Congrats very pretty rings! I’d just go buy a pack of ring snuggies until you decide if you want to have it sized down.
