If you are on a break you are on a break, so no he didn’t 😉

I think both people need to know what it is before doing it.  And not bring up the break all the time later lol.

I totally think Rachel is in the wrong.  I mean I know how devestating a break up can be and the stupid mistakes a person makes after drinking to drown out the pain and then realize “Oh crap” the next day.

However, I think if the situation were me telling my Fiance we needed a break and he did something like that I would probably be really upset like Rachel and think “Oh if he really loved me he wouldn’t have done it” Hind sight is 20/20 lol.

And By The Way I love Friends.  I have all 10 seasons on DVD and at least once a year I break them out and watch them back to back.  My Fiance hates it lol but its such a good classic show.  I was so sad when it was the finale, I bawled.

There are breaks where you want space but are still faithful. Then there are breaks where you aren’t together for a while. They didn’t clarify that going in, thus Ross wins on a technicality. Haha.

I don’t think it was cheating, but at the same time I would be beyond pissed off if my ex decided to sleep with someone else right after we broke up like that… in those situations you always sort of hold on to some degree of hope that things will work out, so why take a chance like that? At the same time, I know when I have broken up with people in the past everyone always encourages you to get right back out there because there’s no better way to get over a guy than by finding a new guy to distract you.

Ross was definitely in the right.  Like Crayfish said-They didn’t specify what kind of break it was!

I don’t get breaks in general.

Yeah they made Rachel look horrible for a few seasons for being so whiney about it… they were on a flipping break.

I actually agree with Rachel on this…but I’m just irrational like that.

    PS I love PIVOT!

I don’t think it was cheating, but I would be really upset if I found out he went and slept with someone else that night.  I don’t think it was defined well.  You could define it as “a break where we just need some space/time to cool down” or a “break…as in we are separated completely and will come back to it in a month to see if we want to be involved.”

I think breaks are usually worthless though.  Most of the time the relationship is over if you need a break.

@NurseMandie:  I still to this day have not watched the last episode.  It just makes me too sad.  haha But I do the same thing about watching it show after show at least once a year.  And now its on Nick at Nite so I love watching it on the weekdays.  My Fiance is like “Haven’t we already seen this episode 100 times over” lol  But I can’t help it.  I love it.

I don’t really know who was in the wrong.  I would have reacted the same way Rachel did.  I think they should have been more specific..about the break. lol  I just wanted them to get back together. lol
