I know this is the only place that I’ll be able to share this without getting some nasty comments. I’m just so excited – when I stepped on the scale today, it showed that I’ve lost 13 lbs since I started back in October! I finally feel good about my figure and I can’t wait to get into my dress now 🙂
Anyone else seeing the pounds shed off??

Good for you! I wish I could say the same but I need to step up my workouts if the number on the scale is gonna go down. What are you doing to lose weight?

The scale and I have been BFFs since I joined Weight Watchers in October, lol. I already reached my goal weight, and now I’m having a little trouble with maintenance because I’m continuing to lose even though I’m not trying to. There’s more info on my “journey” in this thread!

@Pomapoo: I’m just going the “eating right and exercising” thing. I really cut back on my portions, which is really hard because I LOVE food. I found this great FREE app for my droid phone called “Calorie Counter” – if you have droid phone, I highly recommend it. It takes your height/wieight and activity level, along with any excercise you input, and compares it to everything you eat. It has a huge database of all kinds of food and even has a barcode scanner to check the nutrition facts of items when you’re out shopping). It really keeps me in check 🙂
I’m also pushing myself (in moderation) with each workout to go harder and further each week. So, right now, I’m up to running 3-5 miles 5x a week and then doing weight training 2-3x per week.

I’ve lost 20 pounds since October. Still have another 20 to go.
