baileybagels :  I think it’s more the fact that it was delayed for quality reasons but then clearly came in a way that wouldn’t pass quality so annoyance number 1, then the fix they’re offering is unreasonable because it’s way too long to unset a diamond in most people’s opinions so annoyance number 2 plus she’s lost trust in their abilities which is fair and finally, they’ve held her diamond certificate and the earrings hostage because she’s written about her experience – annoyance number 3.
I think it’s beyond letting them fix it, I think it’s just a shit experience basically. And considering the amount paid and the things that went wrong and needed “fixing” I think it’s pretty fair for her to be upset. We shouldn’t expect to have to fix multiple issues with one order, an expensive order at that.

Wow, that’s crazy… all three of my rings are from BE and we had an awesome experience with them. I am so sorry you’re going through this, what a nightmare.

I’m pretty sure it’s never legal to hold other promised goods hostage, but just remember: if everything in your review is factualy correct, there’s nothing wrong with it and they can work out whatever they want all they want, but review will stand! F them.

Wow I’m so sorry that happened!!! I’d wait till I get your certificate, and if you don’t get it file a report with the BBB and see if you can report them to the police for holding your certificate and earrings hostage. That’s definitely illegal. Once you get your certificate continue to share your story on review sites!! That’s terrible for them to do and I can’t believe they con people into signing a non disclosure

I had an absolutely horrible experience trying to order a diamond through them. Same thing with lack of communication and empty promises. I also, left a bad review and “magically” had managers calling me to try to work things out. Ruined a really exciting time for me as well. I’m so sorry this happened 🙁

Omg I can’t believe they sent that ring out that loose and after claiming it goes through 3 qc checks!!! It’s a stunning diamond so at least you have that 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I would also just eat the cost of that setting! Maybe you can you use it towards the price of your new setting! I’m sorry you had to go through this and at such a special time. I hope it all works out and you get your cert and earrings soon! Merry Christmas and Congrats!!!

Not sure I would call this a scam. Moreso a bad experience.

Oh no, sorry you’re dealing with this and that is for sharing. I’m currently talking to BE for a custom e ring. Nothing bad has happened yet but I’m still very early in the ring process. No quote has been given yet.

I’m also talking to other companies to see who the best fit is.

How many carats is your ring? I was under the impression that lab is much cheaper. 8-10k still sounds like a lot.
