Are you able to return them if they don’t work for you (assuming no wear and tear other than wearing them around the house)? I’m hesitant to give my thoughts if I know you can’t return them, haha, but I’ll be candid :).

I’m an avid heel wearer and am very comfortable in them – I can walk well over a mile in 4 inch heels with no issues. That said, in my experience, peep toe shoes are VERY uncomfortable for me when wearing them over the course of an evening. My foot slides forward in them and my toes get pinched and get blisters on the side of them, I usually can’t make it through a whole night in peep toes. I have been guilty of buying more than one pair because my foot always feels very comfortable and secure in them walking around the store, but the creeping of the toes through the peep opening doesn’t start happening until later in the evening, but once it starts it just won’t stop (maybe the peep hole stretches out a little?). Of course, everyone is different and these may be great for you, but I would suggest one of two things:

– If it’s possible to return them: buy some cheaper peep toe shoes to try out to make sure you are comfortable with them before commiting to these shoes.

– If it’s not possible to return them, then I would practice wearing them for long amounts of time (around the house so they still look new – but make sure to stand, walk, dance, etc) and see how your toes do (the peep toes don’t usually bother me until about an hour or two in depending how much standing I’m doing). If they bother you, there are definitely options like strategic padding or mole skin, etc. to help with any issues. I would just try to determine what issues might arise and think of how to mitigate them if you want to wear them for 7+ hours :).

They are beautiful for sure!!

I literally got a pair last week. I LOVE them. I got them on Tradesy for $50, then added my own bling that I liked better. They are so comfy. I’m 5’10” already, and they will put me at over 6′, but I’m just going to rock it. I love my shoes!

ElvenHoney: Okay, those are the cutest shoes ever, but they are stiletto with a steep arch and (like pp said) a peep toe. These three things are going to make them hurt well before the 7 hours is up. Does that brand offer a wedge shoe? Or a shoe with more of a platform in the front so your foot is not angled so much? If you have the option of exchanging for a wedge, I definitely would. It will give your foot so much more support to be able to last the 7 hours. Good luck!

ElvenHoney: they are the Eternity, but like I said I replaced the bling with my own 🙂 and yeah, I’m a size 11 which is probably why I got such a deal! I saw the Starlettas and love them, but the 4.5 inch heel wouldve been over the top. I’m already 5’10” and Fiance is 6′. Mine are non returnable, so I’ve worn them around the house forever and the peep toe is comfy for me.

Reviving this thread!!! I’m looking at Angela Nuran shoes myself… jsut ordered a clearance pair (serendipity, open toe d’orsay style) – the toes are killing me (i tried moleskine, that helps quite a bit!), but the heel backs are LOOSE. It feels like I’m going to step out of the shoe. It’s my size, and the option that I have is to exchange it for 1/2 a size smaller, but I’m not sure if it will fit right! I’ll have to pay for the shipping of the shoes back and forth, too which is not nothing ($15 one way…)

ElvenHoney : tjacob2014 : Did you end up keeping your Angela Nurans and wearing them to your wedding? Did you send them back? If you wore them, how did they feel?

Anyone else with Angela Nuran experiences?

orchids_bloom : I ended up returning them, and ordering a different style (wedge) in a 7.5. It’s really hard to figure out their sizes without trying it on. I ended up witha pair of the Starlettas in 8 (I thought these shoes were the best thing since sliced bread!). Anyway, for a number of silly reasons, I don’t really have any good photos of them from the wedding, they were only “average” comfortable, I didn’t wear the plastic backs on them (HUGE mistake, sunk into grass, tinted the heels black), so for full price, I would not recommend. I chaged into the “wedge” ones and found them to be a lot easier on the feet.

EDIT: I realized this wasn’t clear 🙂 I ended up with TWO pairs of Angela Nuran Shoes! Returned the d’orsay style (felt like my foot was falling out of it, not comfortable at all and wouldn’t last the night) and got my paws on a pair of Starlettas and a wedge design, forget what it was called. For $340+ per pair, I would not recommend them. I think shoes are totall foot dependent, and for me, I could have found a more comfortable yet pretty shoe for a lower price. For a much lower price somewhere on clearance or ebay, I’d say they are worth a try.
