@LaTortuga:  My Fiance didn’t want to hurt me either, but we had long frank talks, and I had him do some BDSM related reading. Mind you, this all took months before he was comfortable. I realize it’s not for everyone, and you can’t push something that someone doesn’t want to do, but there’s nothing wrong with discussing it and being completely honest and open.

I recommend the following for reading:

  • Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns: The Romance and Sexual Sorcery of Sadomasochism by Philip Miller and Molly Devon
  • Sm 101: A Realistic Introduction by Jay Wiseman

my honey was a virgin when we met.  and yes, it gets SO much better!  experience and time really do the trick.  gives you an excuse to practice more:)
